Obama turned down at PROMINENT NY golf courses over weekend...

    So if history dictates, we can expect to see the following:

    1. Eric Holder will be opening an investigation into the obvious racial discrimination

    2. The IRS will wan to "peek" at the courses books

    3. Obama will deny he even wanted to play there.........and he hear about this "phony" scandal on the news.......

    A man was beheaded. I think that constitutes a bloody image and Obama STILL doesn't 't learn from big mistakes. What's wrong with him? New York is very liberal, so for 3 golf courses to say no, I guess the messiah has really lost his mojo.

    tiger woods plays there all the time...so its not race...maybe they require an IQ test first and he failed...or maybe they require people who know how to play golf be the only ones to play....

    It'll be interesting to see how righties will criticize him for not playing golf.

    In his interview with Chick Todd last week, he admitted to the bad "optics"

    So what is wrong with not playing golf now?

    I'm sure we're going to find out real soon.

    Oh, boo-hoo. Obama hasn't gotten in enough golf while ISIS/ISIL is establishing a terrorist state in the heart of the Middle East and is sawing the heads off of American reporters. My heart is bleeding for the Golfer in Chief and his worshippers who think the world should revolve around him. :cry:

    Being a Head Pro I cannot blame them high profile people cost your course money and (*)(*)(*)(*) off regular play. It is not worth it for a photo op

    You do realize that Lefties have rightly been giving him flak about it, too? Will you be holding your breath to see how they criticize him for not playing golf?

    Whatever.

    The "optics", i.e., his preoccupation with golf and fundraisers instead of developing strategies against jihadists, etc., are but a superficial symptom of the underlying ideological disease that is responsible for Obama's indifference and inaction. The only people who give a (*)(*)(*)(*) about "optics" are Obama's supporters.

    I wasn't aware that lefty media was criticizing Obama for playing golf, so naturally, I would not wonder how they would start criticizing him for golfing.

    I have heard Fox News criticize Obama for golfing since 2012, and quite a bit lately, so I'm interested in how they, and righty posters on this site, who've been doing the same.....will criticizing his choice to not golf.

    Why is this a problem? Have any of you ever been around a high ranking member of the government? Especially the President? Do you know how much security goes in to an area when he is around? It inconveniences everybody within MILES of him. The gulf courses didn't want to push away their high profile players by having to deal with all of that on Labor Day. Stop making it seem like anything more than that.

    The VP came to my hometown years ago when I was there. It was absolutely insane the amount of precautions and road blocks and checkpoints etc were around the city. Secret Service guys searching everybody that came within eyesight of him. It was annoying and if it were up to me (and most of the locals according to the news articles the following day) I'd never let them come anywhere near here again. It's nothing against them personally but damn they are an inconvenience. Took me 3 hours to get home which usually takes 15 mins.

    But I'm not seeing liberal media criticizing Obama for not golfing.

    I am seeing righty medai continue to criticize him for golfing, even though he may have stopped that. Maybe thats the answer I'm looking for, they will just find something else.

    Apparently it's not Obama's choice to not play golf (if you believe the OP). He would still be playing at a high profile NY golf course if it were up to him.

    The golf course itself, refuses to cooperate with our Fund Raiser in Chief so those little distinctions are important to remember when trying to
    obfuscate the real story here.

    Cpicturetaker, the word you wanted wasn't "cache" it was "cachet". It means "superior status, prestige" or "a sign of approval from a person with a great deal of prestige". That pretty well explains the problem, doesn't it? President obama doesn't have it.
