Obama turned down at PROMINENT NY golf courses over weekend...

    Right, the PGA is always looking for poorly designed courses better suited to be a cow pasture to hold the US open.

    Sheesh.

    I see the thread has died.... no updates? Was Obama able to get his 5 rounds in this past weekend?

    I think his handlers (which would now be the DNC as their concern is the 2016 presidential election) probably put their foot down across his neck on this golfing stuff. It was not only so very definitely making him look bad -- especially hitting the links only shortly after express horror (horror I say!) over the Foley torture/murder and then grinning while playing -- but was also making it difficult in general to promote any Democratic Party candidate for the job of POTUS where the public was concerned. Hmmm . . . or at least somewhat more difficult to get Party faithful to part with cold hard cash.
