God Bless France & Russia

In France two, we don't learn a lot about history outside the Europe and the countries near to our continents.
What is the most stupid in that, despite the fact that we don't even learn our full own history, is that the school program come back several times in some periods: I think for exemple to the WWII, who is studied 4 times... This is increadibly useless... And that's really far to be the best part of french history, if they want to brock the patriotism, they do it right...
If you compare, 1870 war is not studied, the biggest majority of the people of my age don't already know that there have been a franco-prussian war, and Napoléon is studied just one time, at the end of the program, and we are not tested about that (I let you imagine how the students hear when they know they won't have test about it...)

That's true and that's very damageable, knowing the history of our own country and of other's is the better way to make people patriot and respecting the others cultures... But as it's economicaly not clearly useful, our governements don't care.

That's true that because of that, lots of people reduce Russia to the communist period... This is an increadible lack of culture.

I'm sad to hear that the US got the same problem than us, I though this country was quite saved from this movement of "self-shamed" that so much country get here in Europe...

 

Of course you're right. The most important thing - the presidential election. And I also can not imagine anyone in their right mind who vote for Hollande.

 

There still people who like Hollande... Hollande's popularity get up after the terrorist attacks... Some people look not to understand that there would not be this kind of problems in France if we hadn't these lefist governements. Hollande is a part guilty of what's happen now, there's no worsen defect than weakness for a politician...

But thanks God, majority still dislike our "president".

USA is using Turkish air bases all around Turkiye.
During the war in Iraq American soldiers and wounded soldiers were coming to Turkiye for rehabilitation. To feel themselves human again they were coming to Turkiye. American soliders who were in the region definitely understands what I mean and they just have four letters to tell to these kinds of messages.
USA asked help from Turkish army after their failure in Afghanistan especially creating social ties with local Afgan people. If Turkiye is not a friend why Americans asked it? Then when Turkish army sent itstroops to Afghanistan (they are still there)now the situation in Afghanistan is much much more better than before.

If Turkiye is not a friend, why the hell USA is continuing its covered sanctions against Russia?
We are wellcoming around 4 million Syrians in our country. They all escaped from Syria. How many Syrians do you wellcome in USA?
How many Syrians do France and Russia wellcome at the moment?
