Trump continued his habit of making anti-military comments last night. His previous comments including his opinion that McCain was not a war hero and that the military was a disaster didn't win him any friends in the GOP or the military. Now he's referred to America's Generals as 'rubble' and threatened to fire them.

His kowtowing to Putin is certainly a concern. I would say the combination of the attacks on the US military and his sycophancy to Putin puts him in the category of un-American.

Hah! Just look at the difference in the people's (Armed Forces people) eyes when they're looking @ Hillary vs Trump.

Hillary got lambasted last night. :nana:
I have to admit she has brass balls and will stand there and defend her Communist ways, and lie.
Even with Lauer fielding questions straight from the DNC Trump won.
Somebody on here even has that in their signature.

I suspect you'll find that his 'kowtowing' was an approach to Putin with a view to joining forces against IS. He's obviously smarter than you think because that's the only way IS can be defeated.

The problem isn't with ISIS, the problem is with the movement & ideology they represent. Sure, we can "beat" ISIS, but it's not going to make a damn bit of difference if one or two more groups rise up just like ISIS, Al Qaeda , etc. We will never be able to "defeat" the ideology behind these groups. It's been this way for hundreds of years. Short of eradicating everyone of Islamic faith there is no way to stop it. We need to stop and look after our own

Trump is a Piece Of S------, was born as a POS, behaves like a POS in that he will do or say anything to get elected. What does it say about Trump supporters who support such a POS?

Why is Trump getting wo much flak for not acting like we're still in a Cold War with Russia?

Being a Retired Vet who attends VFW and American Legion meetings along with hanging out with other vets, hardly no civilians at all. I would say the conscientious, at least around where I live is that neither Trump or Clinton is highly thought of. That both are viewed very negatively. That is with the exceptions of the party loyalist who back their candidate good or bad, right or wrong, same as in the civilian world.

But I would say when it comes to either Trump or Clinton becoming our next CINC, that thought is met with pretty much disdain. Bottom line, neither is wanted.

Why would he not? Especially after that elementary school massacre and they're all on his southern border?
Russia lost some fine members of Spetsnatz that day.
    Clearly terrorists are a problem.
Despite the US attempts at demonizing Assad. He is doing the right thing.
They're doing to him (with propaganda) what they did to Khaddafi, yet he he has the support of most of his population.
The US needs to get out of the "regime-change" crap.
The US intervention in LIbya was bad.
Christians were not getting beheaded with Assad in control.

It's just Hillary going warlike again, stoking the Cold War which Reagan won back in the 80's. Hillary needs somebody to demonize besides Trump and she picked Putin. They always turn militaristic before a presidential election.

Vet here. The way I see it is that Trump isn't a pushover like Obama and isn't a war monger like Hillary. That makes him a better choice.

So as a vet....how do you like a draft dodger like Trump saying our generals are failures and embarrassments???

(Rhetorical question....Hoosier would defend Trump kicking a homeless vet in the streets)

That appears to be the consensus in all of America. The fact that Trump and Hillary are what America has come up with as the best we can do seems proof positive that America has started on the downhill slide unless some major changes in our political system occur.

What was "loaded"? Trump said our generals have failed and their failures are an embarrassment.

How would a veteran...or even current military personnel ...feel about a guy who used a fake "bone spur" (that magically healed up after his deferments)....saying that about our generals?

Trump's shooting from the hip usally results in him shooting himself in the foot. There is a reason why he has started reading written speeches every chance he can. He obviously is incapable of thinking on the fly but he does read quite well.

If you compare his speech on defense where all he did was read a prepared speech with his performance at the Commander In Chief forum where he had to think by himself the difference was truly amazing.

And you have what to back that up? Puh-lease.
When he does shoot himself in the foot,he empties the magazine at least. :roflol:
He's still a better choice than proven failure corrupt Communist Hillary.
    Case in point:Libya.The End.

Could be, but most aren't interested in voting or choosing between the two. Then there is me who decided to vote for Johnson. Evil is evil even if it is the lesser of two evils. That's where Johnson comes into my equation.

You know if this wasn't so sad and shameful, both Trump and Clinton trying to portray themselves as pro military and for the vet would be laughable. I fear you're right, regardless of who wins between them, that downhill slide has become steeper and faster. In plain English, we're doomed..

As a libertarian I could not support Johnson as he is jumping on many of the idiotic bandwagons like climate change.
