    Who the hell wants links?

I want PROOF, not deluded right wing propaganda lies.

When you want proof, you go directly to the acknowledged source authority and that's the IAEA, not the Fox network or some other such nonsense.

    naturally he disregards this:

    https://www.iaea.org/publications/factsheets/iaea-safeguards-overview

Had he troubled himself to read it, he would know that he has actually confirmed my earlier post.

As always, it is just so easy to defeat a right winger on this forum. Just too easy.

We are definitely screwed. All of us. The have’s and have not’s you say and how it’s always been that way. In Sweden, during the “neutral” and “Socialist-Democratic” heyday there existed wealthy citizens for sure but it resembled something akin to a damned good income for the bottom (as a starting point) and whatever gobs that were left over was OK to spread unevenly towards the top. The US has always (I dare used that word) had the upper crust as the starting point and spread it unevenly towards the bottom, leaving an ever-increasing percentage of destitution. Today I see that the upper crust of the US is now cutting out the middle class altogether and confiscating the share that class once enjoyed. So what is left is a stable percentage of filthy rich, now even richer, and a population of destitute that is bulging at the seams with the former middle class …. now poor. You can argue it if you like and that’s OK. I am not speaking with any authority, only telling you what it looks like to me.

Oh yes. The US has already made inroads into Fascism. It is a Fascist state in many ways. Getting away with murder “in your face” is enough to prove it. The American media, injustices, the NSA, standing (rather than taking a knee) for the flag, the portrait of the president in public buildings. I have been to every former East Block nation during the Cold War, with the exception of 1, so I think I can speak with a degree of authority on the matter. Plus the fact that my wife is from Czecho-SLOVAKIA and she has shared some of her behind closed doors experiences with me The upshot is that I see that the US is turning into a full-blown Fascist state, little by little. There are many things in the US today that resemble the other side of the Iron Curtain. And it is getting worse by the day.

You claimed the IAEA, which stands for INTERNATIONAL ATOMIC ENERGY ASSOCIATION, is tasked with monitoring NUCLEAR ACTIVITIES AND arms transfers as per UNSC2231.

So you were 100%, unequivocably, WRONG.

Really hilarious seeing someone get obliterated on the forum claiming "victory".

I agree with all of your comments. I do not mean "always been that way" in that there is always extreme wealth inequality and injustice. I meant that the elite will always try and maintain wealth and increase power. This does not mean that at all times there is rampant injustice.

What is always the case however is that there is a bit of a tug of war between the haves and the have not's. At certain times we see that haves exercise immense power and control to the point of dictatorship and/or totalitarianism and economic totalitarianism. The pendulum swings back and forth with time. We are moving to an extreme position once again.

Interesting that your wife is from Eastern Europe. So is mine :) She Serbian but grew up in Romania (went to the same gymnastic school as Nadia - not at the same time but same school) moved here when she was 16. Her dad lives with us (and likes to drink) so I have heard a gazillion stories about Tito, Ceausescu and what things were like under in Romania back in the day.

I do not like to use labels (Fascism, Communism) but ... yes we are definitely in the middle stages of what resembles Fascism.

What is hilarious is your ranting and disingenuous nonsense.

The dude put up a link describing how the IAEA monitors nuclear activities.

You claiming that this is not the case is what is "100%, unequivocably, WRONG" ... as usual.

When you don't know WTF you're talking about, its better to stay out of the argument. So he was wrong for claiming the IAEA monitors UNSC resolutions that have nothing to do with nuclear activity, and you were wrong to defend him, which means either 1-you also do not know what you are talking about 2-didn't bother to read his post.

Good job, cupcake, I'll save you the trouble of searching for their post:

"Instead of these fantasies let's see real proof from the IAEA which monitors all such efforts."

My wife was born in the eastern part of Slovakia (Košice) which was Czechoslovakia back then. I met her there about 15 years ago. The men all like to drink. In fact, my brother-in-law struck his head on a curb and died just a couple of years ago, leaving behind several children. He was a severe alcoholic. Those countries have changed drastically, but Slivovica & Vodka are still more popular than voda.
