That is true. I don't know what the specific charge or charges would be. What I do know is that Assange is not in a hurry to find out.

The DOJ tried that when the NYT published top secret classified documents, the "Pentagon Papers."

The SCOTUS over ruled the DOJ and the NYT went on publishing top secret documents under the protection of the First Amendment.

    All crimes real or imagined
    like Ford gave NIXON.
Should include any participation regarding an extradition request.

Oh and of course sexual assault allegations. Didn't the rape charges fizzle?

    Call sign: Crazy Horse

How dare anyone embarrass the US military as it slaughters innocents and accredited journalists... because it can.

Check out Assange's Twitter page and his post of 27 December 2017:

    https://twitter.com/JulianAssange/status/946094788889083904

The Italian newspaper Repubblica has an interesting article on this debacle:

    http://www.repubblica.it/esteri/2017/12/14/news/london_tribunal_dismisses_la_repubblica_s_appeal_to_access_the_full_file_of_julian_assange-184083942/?refresh_ce

In the interim, the London Tribunal has recognised Wikileaks as a media organisation, a perception the US has been desperately trying to void.

Fire and fury was written by a gossip columnist and he admits he made much of it up. It's about as pertinent as the golden shower dossier that started this sham investigation

My bet is that YOU are unable to list even one person Manning "got killed". Talk is cheap Empress, and you just demonstrated it again.

The rape charges were in Sweden, so Trump can't pardon that.

But this isn't the first time there has been a "pardon Assange" thread, and I can never get an answer as to why he needs a pardon when there is no evidence anywhere that he's under indictment for anything in the US. It's just bizarre.

After Hillary openly asked if Assange could be droned, no wonder.

    NIXON was pardoned before
any charges were brought against him.

Didn't the rape charges from Sweden disappear?
    Stand by previous upload above.

    The rape charges were contrived.

As I posted earlier, the US indictment and arrest warrant are secret and will not be made public. The recent tribunal in London has confirmed that. See my post above for the skinny about this.

Trump must believe Assange is guilty if he already thinks he requires a pardon. Certainly innocent people don't need pardons.

    1) The thread title is misleading.

    2) InfoWars does not qualify as a reliable source.

    InfoWars? :roflol:

Oh, and on topic, let Asssnge rot :salute:

There was no rape, Margot. The charges of rape and molestation against Assange were dropped at the very beginning. And then re-instated. The alleged rape "victim" herself states it was consensual sex and that the Swedish prosecutor ignored her protests about this. In May this year the Swedish prosecutor dropped the rape charge. The other charge, molestation, was dropped in 2015.

The Observer ran a detailed article which you can read HERE.

It's therefore hard not to conclude that the reinstating of the charges was a politically motivated and aimed at the extradition of Assange to the US to stand trial on altogether different charges.

After all, the US cannot charge him with rape in Sweden can it.

Not for rape no. Those charges are already history.

But the reality is that rape is not what the US secret arrest warrant is for.

Irrelevant really. There was no rape. The sex was consensual. That is an established fact.

The rape charges were quickly dropped within days or weeks.

Then political machinations and a corrupt prosecutor saw them re-instated.

Then they were dropped again. Sweden has no charges against Assange. The Brits are threatening him with some sort of skipping bail travesty.

The words in bold are the reasons that Assange took asylum in the embassies. He maintained that he would be willing to go to Sweden and face charges of rape.

I did not read the whole of the link but would like to quote one sentence " Sweden has both the most expansive rape laws (which extend all the way to marital bed nagging), as well as the highest number of reported rapes in the world."

Marital bed nagging = rape in Sweden, so perhaps people will finally stop going on about the fake claim that Sweden has the highest rape reports unless their country also includes nagging someone to bed as a rape
