We are talking about the upcoming summit in which Trump is being played by Kim, Putin, and Xi, and this guy wants to talk about the economy. Well, that stands to reason. His hero look pretty ridiculous on Friday, shaking hands and having a gay, old time with Kim's top assassin. Well, okay, we will talk about the economy.

Trump wants to start a trade war with China. In that trade war with China, our friends would have helped the U.S. So what does Trump do? He enlarges the trade war by placing steel and aluminum tariffs on Canada, Mexico, and the EU. Brilliant.

The economy is doing well despite Trump's policies, not because of them. The economy is doing well because of Republican policies, not Trump's policies. Trump isn't a Republican.

The economy is doing well because it is an extension of the recovery period begun under Obama and his policies to spark the economy. Trump has a ways to go before he can claim any credit. Under Obama, there was 76 straight months of job growth. Trump has sixteen. We are back where we were under Clinton with the 3.8% unemployment after the Great Recession that began during a Republican administration.

In terms of denuclearization, which won't even be a part of the conversation, why in the world should Kim trust Trump? Trump has busted up a number of agreements, TPP, Paris Accord, Iran nuclear deal, trade with Canada, Mexico, and the EU. These agreements are with America's friends. Kim can wonder what Trump will do with America's enemies.

Then there are others who think Trump is embracing our enemies, Putin, Xi, Kim. He just lavishly entertained Kim's top assassin on Friday. He had to waive the U.S. sanctions against the assassin so the thug could come to the White House. What an embarrassing dog and pony show that was.
