The hypocracy is just screaming here, if your a Trump protestor off with your head, if you are a BLM or ANTIFA...............well that's OK we don't need to prosecute and sentence them to set an example to stop it. Just amazing.

So you agree we should prosecute all persons who engage in violent riots? And let's throw in try to obstruct governmental procedures.

They'd have been shot long before they got inside the Capitol buildings.

About 200 arrested. No violence. Certainly, some interruption. Committee may have pressed for more serious charges. Don't know? Ask Grassley (R-Ia), he was in charge.

You are claiming you are not familiar with the protest at the Capital during the Kavanagh hearings, you were discussing it back them and now you claim you had no idea about

'Rise up, women!': Angry crowds flood Capitol Hill to protest Brett Kavanaugh nomination

WASHINGTON – In a full-day of demonstrations on Capitol Hill, hundreds of mostly women protesters raised fists and shouted "Lock Him Up" in front of the Supreme Court, unfurled banners inside a Senate office building and even blocked a Senate elevator door to directly confront Sen. Jeff Flake on live TV.

Don't play those games with me.

So how many of those protestors went to prison in order to set an example for people who would interfere with the democratic process?

If they caused a delay or were trespassing then arrest was warranted.

Wiki doesn’t go on to say what sentences the arrested protesters received. Does anyone know?

Oh, and this was because of Floyd.

The White House was on lockdown the night of May 29 in response to protests reaching the gates.[2] The protests began at 7:00 p.m. By 8:30 p.m., the White House lockdown was lifted as protesters began to leave. At 10:00 p.m., the protesters returned, however by 3:30 am Saturday the protesters were more subdued. The protesters came into conflict with the United States Secret Service. At times, the protesters got close enough to inflict minor injuries on certain officers. At one point the protesters were pepper sprayed.[3] Several Secret Service agents reportedly suffered broken bones due to rocks and bottles of urine and alcohol thrown at them by rioters.[4][5]

The only thing I discussed was that Democrats were acting foolish, his track record didn’t seem sufficient and I deeply have an issue with partisans selected by the federalist society being placed in such high roles. I didn’t follow the protests that much.

So it doesn’t look like it was violent and another poster indicated they were arrested immediately. What do you believe should have been done?

I have no issues with protest be it cult members or communists.

Then it is high time the federal and state officials use the same fervor and effort to stop this Antifa and BLM violence and anarchy in cities such as Portland and Seattle and Ferguson and everywhere those riots occur. Let's set some examples instead of bailing them out of jail as our current Vice President promoted and advocated.

I did but I don’t see the relevance — I supported finding and arresting those that committed acts of arson and vandalism. I have been consistent from day one. I can also tell the difference between damaging private property and stopping a constitutionally required assembly certifying the most important part of a functioning democracy through insurrection.

Are you ready to discuss definitions?
