It’s Trump that the public, I should specify independents don’t like. In 2020 independents were split on Trump’s policies, for some, against some. They gave him high marks on the economy, immigration, crime. Normally they would have split their vote if not given it to Trump. But they didn’t. They voted for Biden by a 54-41 margin. It’s Trump the man, the individual, the person they didn’t like. 2020 wasn’t a vote against Trump’s policies, it was a vote against the man himself. Independents were sick and tired of Trump’s obnoxious, uncouth and very rude personality.

If Trump had the personality of a Reagan, even a Bill Clinton or an Obama, I’m sure he would have won reelection. Probably fairly easily. But he doesn’t. He acts like a spoiled 4-year-old brat with his name calling and temper tantrum throwing. He’ll never win the independent vote because of his childish behavior which they deem way below the dignity of the office of the presidency. Which is important to consider since the Republican Party is still the smaller of the two major parties. Hence, if the GOP doesn’t win independents, they lose the election. Trump cost the Republican Party Georgia’s two senate seats in the runoff in 2021 and cost them the senate this year and perhaps even the house which is still up for grabs with 19 seats still undecided and at least 1 governorship.

Running Trump in 2024 would be doing the Democrats one huge favor in my opinion. That is if Trump hadn’t done the Democrats many favors in the past as giving them control of the House in 2018, the senate in 2020 and helped the Democrats retain control of the senate this year. I suggest the GOP go looking for a candidate that can attract the independent vote or lose another election in 2024.

Nothing burger. Not objecting does not obviate the overt statements made by Trump during that phone call.

I believe Candace was correct before and is also correct now. I believe many supported Trump, including Candace, because a good portion of his policies are good and effective while Biden's policies are awful. However, Trump does appear to be vengeful, paranoid and lacking in humility. I would love to see Trump leave the public stage but that is not in his DNA.

I believe many supported Trump because he "stuck it to the libs" ("Lib" meaning anyone who didn't kowtow to him).

Name one policy that was good and effective?

I'm sorry you are offended by objective facts, but the facts don't care about your feelings. Mislabeling objective facts as "drama" won't make them go away. It will make dishonest trolls ignore them, but those of us with a shred of dignity and honesty will still know that the facts exist, much to your apparent chagrin. I'm glad you have enough integrity to hope he loses the primary. I wish you had enough integrity to accept historical facts that are inconvenient for your feelings. Join me when you develop that kind of integrity.

The changes he made to trade agreements benefited the US and its workers. His policy of remain in Mexico was critical and Biden has made a nightmare of our border with fentanyl now pouring across and killing our citizens, now the number one killer of adults 18-45.

Fentanyl isn't pouring in across the border.
It's entering the US through the PORTS!

"Last year more than 11,000 pounds of fentanyl made its way into the U.S. and more than half of it came right through the border of Mexico and San Diego, according to investigators. That was more than double the amount of fentanyl seized at the border compared to 2020, investigators said."

You said that Biden made a "nightmare" at our border with fentanyl, so that indicates you're talking about immigration.
It's mostly Americans bringing it over the border in cars and trucks, hired by Mexican drug lords.
The ports of entry are still the main source of entry into the US even though the amount has risen at the border.
I recently read the statistics by the governemt on fentanyl here in the US

Yes Biden has made an awful mess of our border. Because the borders is such a disaster (thanks Joe), our border agents don't have the resources needed to stop the fentanyl pouring across our southern border and killing thousands of our citizens.

"Traffickers regularly transport fentanyl using “backpackers” — Mexican couriers who race across the border and deposit knapsacks laden with the opioid at a predetermined location on the US side, or who hook up with traffickers on the US side that then transport the fentanyl across the country."

“Border patrol agents are too busy dealing with the influx of migrants, and are not really focused on looking for fentanyl,” Robert Almonte, a Texas-based security consultant and former deputy chief of the El Paso Police Department, told The Post. “Border agents are not getting the support they need from the federal government to stop the flow of fentanyl, which is killing thousands of Americans.”

Yes the cartels are exploiting the border chaos and killing our citizens.

Trump's ego will not allow that to happen. He will go full monty on 2020 election, more radical on immigration by blaming them for everything, and basically a rehash of his 2020 campaign.

Even though the USMCA is 95% of NAFTA? He created tariffs with China and Europe based on political campaign promises. Those policies have not worked and even his JCTA was a disappointment economically because only one quarter went above 3% of GDP. The rest of the time it was at or lower during the last years of Obama. Furthermore, even the CATO Institute gave Trump a C on fiscal policy because of the large deficits with complete control of GOP Congress in both legislatures. A lot of promises such as no coal plants to close or the FoxComm's plant never came to be. In essence, it was not that good and was either just lower or on par of the Obama Administration. But Trump loves a good yarn where is he has all the credit and none of the blame.

The policy "remain in Mexico" was the lazy way of not allowing legal immigration, namely refugees/asylees. You may want to rethink that again.

    Why is it that?
Americans being the prime movers of fentanyl into the US is never mentioned by the Republicans.
Americans killing Americans with fentanyl is never mentioned by the right.
Incarcerate anyone whose caught smuggling opioids but at least have your facts straight.

'Don't Blame Migrants and 'Open Borders' for Fentanyl Entering the Country'

"U.S. citizens traveling through legal ports of entry—not undocumented immigrants—are primarily to blame for fentanyl inflows."

    FIONA HARRIGAN | 10.17.2022 6:20 PM

"When politicians and pundits on the right call for the U.S.-Mexico border to be secured, they often point to rising fentanyl overdose deaths among Americans as justification.

"The cartels are exploiting President Biden's open borders," charged Sen. Ted Cruz (R–Texas), sharing an article about fentanyl at the southern border. "Open borders…are slowly but surely poisoning our country," said former Sen. Kelly Loeffler (R–Ga.) of parents who "now must worry" about Halloween candy laced with fentanyl. "There have been over 100k fentanyl deaths" since Joe Biden became president, tweeted the conservative Heritage Foundation. "OPEN BORDERS ARE INHUMANE."
Despite the idea's sticking power in certain circles, it's inaccurate to say that undocumented immigrants crossing an open border are chiefly responsible for fentanyl arriving at the country's doors. In reality, U.S. citizens carrying the drug through legal ports of entry are primarily to blame.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has reported an upward trend in fentanyl seizures over the past few years. From 2,800 pounds seized in FY 2019, CBP seized 11,200 pounds of fentanyl in FY 2021 and 12,900 pounds in FY 2022 through the end of August."

    "Snip:

"Per David Bier, associate director of immigration studies at the Cato Institute, some people might wrongly think that "less fentanyl is interdicted between ports of entry because it is more difficult to detect there." But Bier notes that it's far easier for smugglers to conceal drugs while entering the U.S. at legal crossings (i.e., in vehicles) than it is for someone to cross the border undetected.

"We've seen some instances perhaps of migrants and drugs as a mixed event," said Brian Sulc, executive director of the Department of Homeland Security's Transnational Organized Crime Mission Center, in congressional testimony in May. "But they're still rare."

So what? If it’s Trump vs Biden, what do you have to lose? Do tell?
The way the media, Facebook, and the DNC handled Biden’s candidacy, the USA will get another four years of the president it deserves.
America was so uncurious as to relevant facts of Biden and his candidacy, the old adage screams: You get the country you deserve.
What is the worst that can happen with four more years of Biden?

For the conservatives, the election AGAIN.

Second, I am not quite sure if Biden will run again. To me, it is 50/50 and that was one of the messages the voter electorate sent. They want neither a Trump candidate, generally, or a Biden. What they do want is compromise and get rid of the extremism, in both parties.

So you seriously think the current catch and release policy that is clogging our schools, prisons and hospitals along with the flow of fentanyl is preferable to the remain in Mexico policy for American citizens? I disagree with Trump on many things and would love to see him go away but many of his policies were highly beneficial for American citizens.

    Totally, Izzy...
Owens has lashed out against “political Jews” and theorized about a “small ring” of “sinister” Jews exerting influence in Hollywood and Washington, D.C..
Most recently, she liked a tweet promoting the blood libel that Jews drink Christian blood as part of certain religious ceremonies

BUT, what nobody in the Left-Leaning Mainstream Media realizes:
Owens is playing the long game of 99-D Chess to rocket to the Top of the Short List in the Trump Veepstakes...
