If you're a criminal yes, sadly that's not the case if you adhere too and jump thru all the hoops a law abiding citizens must perform to qualify.. Not much different then Australia illegal gun trade, only they "Lawful citizen" have little or no chance of their Government Mommies and Daddies will allow them to have such a dangerous thing!

Spears and Sling shots, just like the Aboriginals defended themselves with ;)

Hell, I bought my Father in Law a blowgun and he has to keep it hidden unless he goes up to the crest!

Looks like laws don’t work. How many times must they try and make more laws. Why not actually influence people to be armed so they can defend themselves because all these anti gun laws do nothing but make easy targets

Back in the day my kid had something very similar to that. Then he moved on to pellet guns - man, some of them are powerful. Finally he got a .22 rifle but we keep it in our place and not his because he’s a nut job.

I have a 22 pellet gun that has a 30 mm scope lens with 3x magnification and it's one of the spring piston deals where you only stroke it once .
Edit.... I can't believe this forum edited out the word for a male rooster..... So I had to say that you "stroke" the gun...

You can get rabbits bird and squirrel with it all the live long day. In my hands it's extremely effective from 100 foot or less for those hunting purposes.

he doesn't live at my place. Plus it's in a locked case, it has a trigger lock and we have no ammo in the house.

I live just up the road from El Paso and Juarez. Due to the illegal aliens who are supposed to improve our economy and lower our crime rate, the wife and I have been looking around for something that will shoo them away when they eventually hit my street like they've been hitting other streets. I want a short shotgun, she wants a handgun.

Sounds like one of the pellet guns my kid once had, scope and all. It will put a hole through a garbage can.

You honestly think that that mass shootings were perpetrated by more than 800,000 non-white Americans? Do tell ...

I think he was being overly polite in giving you an answer that you do not deserve.

If it were me I would have told you to mind your own damn business.

So, what your saying is, criminals will acquire the tools to do their crimes regardless of laws.

    Agreed.

Yes before the 14th Amendment the bill of rights applied to the federal government only. It was specifically for anti federalists who wanted federal protection.

That's why it says CONGRESS shall make no law.

    .
And 99.99999999% of White Americans are NOT involved in Mass shootings. That destroys your Liberal narrative, doesn't it.

Nope! That's wrong...lol. You're going by a very flawed Supreme Court decision, not anything written in the Constitution.

“Or, Mike, take the firearms first and then go to court, because that’s another system. Because a lot of times, by the time you go to court, it takes so long to go to court, to get the due process procedures. I like taking the guns early. Like in this crazy man’s case that just took place in Florida, he had a lot of firearms – they saw everything – to go to court would have taken a long time, so you could do exactly what you’re saying, but take the guns first, go through due process second.

Not at all. The VAST majority of ALL Americans are not involved in gun violence, and I have never said differently.

THE Conventions of a number of the States, having at the time of their adopting the Constitution, expressed a desire, in order to prevent misconstruction or abuse of its powers, that further declaratory and restrictive clauses should be added: And as extending the ground of public confidence in the Government, will best ensure the beneficent ends of its institution.

Remember the states were basically self governing nations since the 1600s with little connection to the colonies around them. That's why the Articles of confederation were written to insure that maximum independence was kept to the states. Much like an international organization today.

The constitution was created to fix the issues with the AoC. When the new government was formed several states only agreed to ratify if amendments would be added restricting the new federal government.

The government talked about in the preamble was the 1789 Federal government. It's clear as day that it's only meant to restrict the feds.
