liberals hype shootings where the weapon used is a semi auto rifle and the shooter doesn't have a record prior to his rampage. They ignore the fact that 74% of mass shootings involve handguns and lots are perpetrated by blacks with felony records. They want to ban AR 15s even though fists and clubs are used to kill far more people than AR 15s because they see AR 15s as a firearm that anti big government types tend to own (and I agree, many of those who own AR 15s are leery of collectivist socialism, woke nonsense and the cancel culture bullshit)

 

BTW The shooter ate a gun-was a 72 year old Asian male=-he allegedly went to another location but they took the gun away from him and it appears-at least at the last police report I heard on the news at 930 EST, that the firearm was not an AR 15

 

He’s a big time nut with extreme impulsive behavior. Keeping the gun away from him is the responsible thing to do.

 

So...given what you say about him...HTF did he ever get hold of any gun, legally or otherwise.

 

I don't believe this to be true. Go find the list of 300 or so "mass shootings" the anti-gun groups published for 2022, and check out the shooters race.

Maybe we should take a look at how currently existing divorce laws may have been the motivating impetus for this mass murder.

The news says the suspect met his wife at the same dance studio where the killings happened. They later divorced. She was then invited to a party at the studio which he was not allowed to attend. Both of them had regularly attended the dance studio.

The feeling of social rejection and being spurned (both by the woman who was once his wife, and the only social community this man knew) could have played a role too.

 

Matched perhaps by the relief of the 'non legacy media' (whoever they are) when they (whoever they are) found out he was of Asian origin?

So if I plot a chart of modern democracies showing the rate of death by gunshot vs. the ratio of guns to people, those with the most guns/people would have the lowest rate of death by gunshot?

As for the shooter, - it turned out to be a senior citizen.

Maybe the "eye of mordor" will turn towards handguns after this incident. Is that what you wanted? Sounds like the shooter did have extended magazine, which is something they have been trying to ban foe some time now.
