What the hell do you think school choice means? Rich people have always had the choice of expensive private schools. School choice is about taking the same amount the government spends per pupil in public schools and instead giving that same amount to poor parents in the form of a voucher that can be given to charter schools to educate their children . Some of the worse school systems have high per pupil expenditure that private enterprise is easily able to provide a superior education and still have profit to spare.
