In what sense are they the occupier? Israeli troops pulled out in 2007 and bulldozed the houses if Israeli settlers, who also pulled out. We (the US) played a part in it, since we forced the Israeli hand to get them to pull out and allow Palestinians hold elections. Of course we hoped Fatah would win, and we even sent them money and guns, but Hamas ended up winning. So, Bush 'The Shrub' and Condi are not well liked in Israel for making that possible.

Israel isn't communicating war crimes. There's nothing in the GC's that says civilian casualties are an absolute war crime. The GC's state that signatories should "minimize" civilian casualties.

Says the guy who defends terrorists that behead babies and literally blow their heads off so they can't be properly identified.

Yes, the International Laws of War, at least since 1945, have been crafted to protect irregular combatants who commit barbaric atrocities from any kind of effective reprisals.
IOW, they were clearly intended to encourage barbarism, and have accomplished that objective.

Fatah is a faction of the PLO. It was six of one, a half dozen of another in that election.

Fatah isn't the best friend of Israel, or US, but they are more moderate than Hamas, and US did back them in the elections. Then Fatah and Hamas duked it out with AK-47s and Hamas won militarily and they have been in power ever since.

They control the border between Gaza and Egypt, by way of bulldozering anything in Gaza build near that border and patrolling it. They occupy the sea and also the airspace above Gaza. That makes Israel the occupying nation of Gaza. Don't like it, don't occupy it.

And Palestinians holding elections was not something that was "allowed", but part of the Oslo accords.
According to those same accords, Israel must pull out of Gaza and the WB with it's army.
Weird to see how they only pulled out of Gaza but not the WB when the PLO does cooperate with Israel.
Shows how much Palestinians get when you cooperate. It leads to absolutely nothing, but an ongoing oppression,
and being made to comply of being endlessly colonized. It's a war crime, making the Israeli government full with war criminals.
Settlers, are war criminals too. IDF protecting them: war criminals. We all agreed upon these norms.

Yes, the alliance of Fatah and Hamas was very short.

That isn't saying much. Both's mission is to destroy Israel.

It's more about self-determination instead of an apartheid state. Israel should have accepted a 2-state solution long ago. Liberals don't think palestinians want to be best buddies with us. But we do recognize that people have rights and Israel does not treat them well and really, they can't be a part of the same nation. Nor is it morally acceptable to exterminate or fully displace them.

Israel did accept the two state solution. It was the Palestinians that rejected it.

Israel has accepted two-state plans only when it gives all of the crappy land to the arabs, lol. You can have desert, we'll take the beach, lol. Yes, neither side has been willing to compromise enough, it would appear.

Well so much for your lies that Israel can just ignore the Geneva Conventions.
    As for no war crimes:
    https://ec.europa.eu/commission/presscorner/detail/en/speech_22_6262
President von der Leyen at the European Parliament: These are war crimes. Targeted attacks on civilian infrastructure with the clear aim to cut off men, women, children from water, electricity and heating with the winter coming

    https://www.ohchr.org/en/press-rele...r-crime-special-rapporteur-tells-human-rights
Michael Lynk associate professor of law at the University of Western Ontario and Special Rapporteur for the human rights: Israeli Settlements Amount to a War Crime

Pfff. The babies weren't beheaded and your just making a personal attack for the sake to refuse to condemn the war crimes Israel commits.

The babies were shot in the head and the ones that weren't were beheaded.

What's next, you're going to deny the Holocaust happened?...lol

Cutting off utilities being a war crime, was said last year. You're free to point out if the law changed.
Same thing goes about the colonization of the WB.

Perhaps the people in Hamas that planned this deserve "total annihilation", but certainly not the children. And no not the Israeli children, either.

Peace? The animals who massacred Israelis need to be stopped so it never happens again. I’m sure any peace settlement meant those animals were never hunted down.

Because the plan proposed by the Arab League refused acknowledge Israel's right to exist. That's the flaw in every peace deal: the Arabs refuse to acknowledge Israel's right to exist. That's on the Arabs, not the Israelis.

Those peace proposals from the Arab league are not exactly last week. And Israel refused all of them.
