And now we have to watch out for neo Nazis and Hamas supporters who might try to kill us. My shotgun is locked and loaded if they come to my house looking to harm me or my family.

I'm sure you've got absolutely nothing to worry about.

Just carry on with your life. You should be thankful you don't live in Israel/Palestine

Actually some crazy Hamas supporter was driving around my county, swastikas painted on his car flying a Palestinian flag. He said he was trying to educate people but he was just arrested for possessing illegal guns.

Jews have been assaulted at college campuses and on subways.

Neo Nazis and Hamas supporters better stay away from my house because I'm ready. :)

When there are crazy hammas supporters driving around with their cars covered in swastikas with illegal guns in their car, and Jews being assaulted at colleges and on subways, that's who I am going to worry about. Right now it's very very cool and popular to support Gaza and even support hammas. That means I am in danger.

It's very easy to get guns in the USA.

Now that Hamas is very popular I am in danger.

So if hamas is the problem why don't you go help fix it? Instead of SCREAMING AT ME on this forum from the USA.

Openly calling for ethnic cleansing of a Jewish state is deplorable.

Some West Bank residents are Jordanian citizens, but most are not.

Jordan made it clear they won't take more Palestinian refugees. Unless Israel wants to rip up their nearly thirty year old peace agreement with Jordan...

    https://peacemaker.un.org/sites/peacemaker.un.org/files/IL%20JO_941026_PeaceTreatyIsraelJordan.pdf

... they must be planning to absorb West Bank Palestinians as Israeli citizens.

Most of the 5m West Bank and Gaza residents are Israel's enduring problem.

You do realize that region was once already Israel right? It was just reclaimed.

What I 'realise' is that the USA was once the land of indigenous peoples, and that you will just throw that aside, ignore it, to justify your continued occupation of their land. So, my point is....you can stick your territorial history wherever you like because we drag that out but only when it suits us.

For every claim that the land was once 'Israeli,' there will be another to the contrary.

You keep harping on the same things but ignore the facts. Then you use Wikipedia as a source. Really? That article does not even have anything to do with the actual subject matter. It is questioning whether Israel has to comply with the Geneva Convention in dealing with Gaza and the West Bank.

As I have previously pointed out, the International Courts use treaties, agreements and yes Armistices to determine ownership and sovereignty of a land. There is no doubt that the Ottoman Empire had legal control over the Palestine Valley prior to the WWI. The Treaty of Versailles, that ended WWI, disbanded the Ottoman Empire. In 1920, the League of Nations issued the Palestine Mandate. It called upon to control the area of Palestine and Transjordan for three decades and to Implement the Belfour Agreement. The Belfour Agreement was a document issued by the British in 1917 calling for the creation of a Jewish State to exist along with the Palestinians. Originally, Israel was supposed to be an autonomous state, but the British gave in to Arab pressure. The final draft called for the state of Israel to fall under Israel to fall under Transjordan rule. Also, Transjordan would outright annex the West Bank, and Egypt would annex the Gaza Strip. This was the source of the unrest between the Jews and the Arabs during the final years of the Mandate. The day after the British ended the Mandate, Israel declared its independence. They were immediately invaded by seven Arab armies. The war ended with the signing of the Transjordan/Israeli Armitice. That document ceded all lands including the West Bank and Gaza Strip to Israel. Under International Law, that makes those lands Israeli lands.

Since you brought up the Wikipedia article, the Geneva Convention states that Articles I and II do not apply to civil wars unless the Government requests and receives outside military (as in boots on the ground) support. As long as US does not put troops on the ground in Israel and Israel does not send troops into Lebanon, Syria or Iran, the Geneva Convention does not apply to this war. That is why the US made a point to state that their airstrike in Syria was in retaliation for the Iranian backed militia's attack on US forces, and had nothing to do with the war against Hamas.
