Under Trump the price of gas went UP Under Biden the price has gone DOWN Which do you think is better?
Don't agree. Inflation is the result of government debt spending that is out of control. It took Obama, Trump and now Biden to put us in this mess. And it will be fixed. Maybe when America collapses under the weight of all that debt, but one way or the other it will stop.
Hmm… “Do you regret not voting for Trump?” would be an interesting poll nationwide, but I’m sure results on this board wouldn’t favor Trump. Anyway, I’m sure a lot of that happened.
He's absolutely exceeded my expectations both in domestic and foreign policy. I am actually amazed at what he was able to do without a functioning or supportive legislative branch. In some ways he has done better than Obama did in his eight years. Biden's experience in Washingtons legislative and executive branches as contrrasted with his chronological age, may not be the headline story of his administration, but it damn well should be. I can have that view, and still believe he should probably step aside and not run in 2024. Its sad that we no longer pay attention to actual results, when we decide who to vote for anymore but I am afraid that the harsh truth of the power of performative politics in the social media age, may to kick Joe Biden and America in the groin in 2024.
That is usually true with most presidents though. It goes back to the old adage that you campaign in poetry and govern in prose.
I don't quite know how to answer the poll since I didn't vote for the moron. But he hasn't done anything I didn't expect him to do.
well that's just plain silly. what was the average cost of gas under Trump and Biden To date, the average gasoline price during President Biden’s term — with nearly two years still to go — is $3.60/gallon. That is on a pace to be the highest average under any president. Here is how prices stack up per gallon, from lowest to highest average for their terms: Joe Biden (partial term) — $3.60 Barack Obama first term — $3.12 Barack Obama second term — $2.95 George W. Bush second term — $2.77 Donald Trump — $2.57 George W. Bush first term — $1.59 https://www.forbes.com/sites/rrapie...der-the-past-four-presidents/?sh=54ba2c9864e6
Partly true. He was also elected to serve at the behest of his handlers. That is why he went from a supposed middle of the road to extreme left. It is why Obama keeps a house in D.C. and remains in close contact with his staff. It's easy to keep Biden on the string. There is so much dirt to be had on him, he would never question authority. When he says "I better stop or I'll be in trouble" .....he ain't kidding!
Looking at the "average" price is the silly idea. What is the TREND? Prices under Trump went up, prices under Biden are going down.
the reason why they are going down under Biden was because he caused them to go up to the highest amount in years. It would be like some administration that has the highest rate of violent crime and you commending them because they started reducing the numbers to the point where they were still higher than the prior administration Nice try to defend Biden but a major fail. he has the highest average gas prices in decades
Anyone who followed Joe Biden’s long political career would know that he is a third rate talent. He got the gate when he ran for president in 1988 for plagiarism, and that should have been the end of it. They revived him to stop Bernie Sanders from getting the Democrat nomination. Biden had the image of a “moderate.” His administration has been radical left, doing many things Obama wished he could have done. As for finding a “passive, transitional president,” there can be no such thing in our modern, heavily politicized world. For Democrats, pushing to make government larger and more intrusive is a way of life. They just can’t govern; they have to constantly grow government, even when it’s not needed. Their goal is a socialist government that controls everything and, for some of them, makes their leadership very rich and powerful. That’s what they call “reform.”
I think a decent amount of the problem with Biden is that he's just too old and not all there all the time. If he was 20 years younger I think things would be different. Can't say if they'd be better, but I don't think he'd be quite as much of the stage prop that he seems to be now. Wheel out Joe to say whatever and then put him back in his playpen. Can't say I've ever been a fan of his, and I was surprised he was Obama's running mate as much as I was surprised that Harris was his. But he himself isn't far left. Those policies are coming from the people who control the playpen.
On which issue is he extreme left? That's what lot of Biden voters did, and would do again. Which has literally nothing to do with him.
Gas prices were on their way up when Biden was elected and somehow you're surprised that they continued to rise?
Oh the old it's always the fault of Trump. Trump's average prices were lower than Obama and lower than Brain Dead Biden. you cannot spin that away
The same can be said for Trump. I posted this already in another thread, but essentially the people who we actually need to be president, the moderates, aren't running and we're left with the trash.
his academic record was filled with mediocrity and failure. bottom of his college class and the only reason why he was last at Syracuse was he was allowed to repeat a class he at first earned an F in for cheating. He flunked the Delaware Bar the first time he took it. He's perhaps the most intellectually barren President in the last 100 years
American independence on foreign oil. Open borders. Soft on crime. There you have it, three easy general answers and I didn't even break a sweat!
