Don't see an argument anywhere Jack - "Defense of democracy and freedom" was never on the table - so nothing to defend in that respect. Either way - the power of Ukraine's defence has a whole lot to do with US cash and weapons keeping the country afloat and the troops supplied but .. that support is waning .. and Ukraine has about run out of human capital .. putting women and grandfathers on the front lines which are now poorly supplied .. poorly trained .. and still way out-gunned .. the wests focus now moving to Israel ... the US gonna do what they always do and leave. This latest JV proxy team will left in the lurch like all the others .. Ukraine a nation no more as we knew it .. the colors on the map have changed once again - US-NATO has lost this round .. the lessons learned , hard ones.

Bill, a picture of 10 people posing with some flags on a sidewalk doesn't prove anything. You have never once commented on the photos I've posted of neo-Nazis in Russia, nor that of the neo-Nazis in Charlottesville. I post them to illustrate the point that there are neo-Nazis everywhere and that simply posting photos of people holding those flags and doing Nazi salutes doesn't prove a damned thing about anyone but the people in the photo. It doesn't make the government in that place a fascist government. It does not prove the silly claims you like to post over and over and over about Ukraine's people and government, nor about made-up persecution of Russians in Ukraine. I know for a fact that I saw no such people when I visited and I had no trouble speaking Russian rather than Ukrainian with the locals.

The simultaneous missile strikes hit three Donetsk cities — Pokrovsk, Novohrodivka and Myrnohrad, Klymenko said. The cities lie 25-40 kilometers (15-25 miles) from the front line.
