It seems fairly straight forward to me. Move the kids to a safe location, move the kids into the underground shelters where there is food and water, allow the kids to cross the southern border into Egypt, ask for international humanitarian aid to remove the kids from harms way, ... What has Hamas tried to do?

Hamas leaders regularly drive their cars into Egypt using the tunnels under the southern border. Why can’t they evacuate the kids?
