I did not say he broke any deal. By “deals” you must mean the NATO treaty which a POTUS alone cannot “ break” it takes Congress to “break” as it takes Congress to agree to a treaty. Trump talks about paying dues to NATO. The only so-called dues to NATO are for administration costs and some other ancillary cost. The real crucial “ contributions” to NATO are that NATO members are required to spend a certain percent of Georgia GDP on military defense. Trump makes it sound to his cult followers that countries “pay ‘dues’” like to a country club. That is eaten up by his low information and the WGAS followers and rallies goers and those politicians without testicular fortitude who are afraid to be primaryed. There are things that a POTUS can do to sabotage NATO and Putin and NATO members know that. I know that there were and still are countries that have been slow to increase their military defense spending. Germany and some others have started increasing military defense spending since Russia invaded Ukraine. No thanks to Trump and his runaway mouth lies since obviously Trump was not in office at that time. Trump’s story about a country that asked if since they did not “pay” their “dues” and if Russia invades them will the U.S. defend them and of course Trump said no that Russia can do whatever it wants. Trump made that diareah Trump must mean that if /when the SUPREMES install him and kind emperor of the Americas. Of course I know that he will get re-elected and or steal the election so he will cause havoc and somehow cause us not to help stop Russia from consuming all of Europe. Trump gave Putin a woody with those words out of his mouth. The you get members to comply with spending the necessary GDP is to do it privately where you can threaten them without everyone in the world knowing it. When a POTUS candidate or the real POTUS do that in the open of course countries will get upset as Putin will get a woody and that happened.
