Do you actually think you are making some distinction here? I wonder how folks got through college when I see logic like this....

They are the perfect representation of what college produces these days.

No he didn't. Spending was already increasing since 2014, and has continued up on exactly the same trajectory since - absolutely no sign of any difference made by Trump's comments interjected mid-stream.

Sad. I remember our professors were kind of *******s if you were this clueless in class. I really think high schools are missing the boat teaching to tests. Make kids take philosophy classes every year until they learn how to think logically.

We live in a time now where children attack their teachers, and the teachers can't do anything about it.
Where leftist push for equal bathroom rights to have boys in girls locker rooms.
Where leftist push for teaching gay and trans sexuality issues to 3-5th graders.

And then wonder why they turn out so unprepared for the real world.

If you were to ask the average Russian what exactly Trump did to warrant these prosecutions, you would find the same level of ignorance that Americans have when asked about Navalny's prosecutions. Something to do with money, but it isn't really clear what crime they committed. They aren't bad men because of something obvious, it's always something complicated, or a he said she said situation.

How are we different than Russia again? I wasn't permitted, by my government, not Zuckerberg, to sound the alarm to my fellow citizens that the virus we are dealing with (and still dealing with 4+ years later) was created by man. We lock up journalists indefinitely too; look at Assange. We allow foreign governments to kill our podcasters, or censor Americans. We lock up grandmothers for simply participating in a political rally (that admittedly got out of control, but was it that grandmother's fault who never even went in the building?).

I sense much hypocrisy in the Russia-America comparison of our rights to speech, assembly, privacy, and press.

We were able to invade Iraq like we did because of the bombing campaign prior. Iraq had air defenses. We simply overwhelmed and destroyed it with literally thousands of sorties and cruise missiles within 48 hours.

Putin didn't even attempt to do anything close to Ukraine. I argue he didn't want to (for several reasons including losing popular support for destroying fellow Slavs/Russians, fear of WW3 escalation, losing world support as the world lost a significant portion of grain, and more).

But I believe that at any time he could swarm Ukraine with 500-1000 aircraft (of which he would probably lose 100 or so, unlike us in Iraq), and cruise/hypersonic missiles and accomplish total air superiority. Do you think he can't do this, or like me, do you think he has chosen not to do this?

No one is actually denying that he lied on his business forms. No one.

I am pretty sure he is unable to. In the first weeks of the conflict the Ukraine were able to bombard his convoi at the gates of Kiew with impunity, I could not believe my eyes. On the paper the Russians have great equipment, but its obvious they were not able to make the upscale in the production from prototype to serial production. I guess thats why they are attacking with T72 at best and very very few T 14 and T 90. If they had the capability in the first weeks to protect their convoy from drone fire and air raids they would have done it.

Now its even far worse, now the Ukraine has Iris T and a lot of the best anti-aircraft equipment in the world.

I dont know why you think he would have doubts because of the Ukrainian population, Russia portrays them as Nazis in TV, they create a clima of hate in which oftentimes Ukrainian POW are tortured to death in ISIS style execution videos, they dragged their children to bring them to Russia, they rape their women, they clearly wanna make an end to the existence of the Ukrainians as a nation, as a culture, as people. I doubt he would have any doubts to burn Kiew to ashes, he simply cannot.

I'm not sure on that one. But I do know a huge percentage of Americans lie on official forms, so I don't put it past Trump. It's one of the things I wish I understood better when I was younger. Lie lie lie, because that's what the whole society is doing. I was the idiot who submitted truthful resumes for the first couple of years after the military, and of course my resume stood no chance versus so many liars. Then, after being stuck in entry-level for years, I was still an idiot for not lying on various assistance applications. So of course, being compared against millions of liars, I was denied almost everything. Even after using the GI bill, I found the cream of the crop of American liars. I did well (3.9 or so GPA) until Calculus. Then I was spending hours per day trying to work out those problems. I asked my fellow students how they are doing this homework in time every day (because I could clearly see that except for a couple of classmates, I had a better mastery of the subject during classroom discussion). They said dude just use Wolfframe Alpha, and it works everything out for you including shown work. But the professor reiterated that that was cheating. So I didn't use it, and struggled through and got an F (unlike many cheaters who somehow got D's, or even C's). Of course I could grasp it, but just not as quickly as the course demanded, and I maintained a B for 80% of the 2nd time I took it, finishing with a C. But I would have been much better off lying and cheating like everyone else. So I end up in a shelter with other veterans. I had never applied for any benefits. Suddenly I was surrounded by other veterans getting $1000-$2000 per month in VA benefits. Including 2 pieces of crap who never even finished basic. In fact, I've never met a veteran that received less than $1000. I asked how are you all getting this money, when half of you never even deployed, and I did 4, 3 combat, over 10 years. Ofc the answers were: lie lie lie.

So that charge means nothing to me; I'm in America, surrounded by people allergic to the truth.

Agreeing with and praising someone is often appropriate. People don't have to be nasty and insulting ALL the time. Peace is made with friendship and cooperation... not hostility and insults.

That still doesn't equate to telling them to invade.

You are connecting dots that don't exist. Trump also never said we wouldn't defend those states.

The issue I have is the blatent disregard for truth about what was said. The claim that trump outright said to attack NATO members was not true in the slightest.

Agreed. And I think the NATO members need to buck up and foot the bill of the protections they enjoy being a member.

That's the point, and the one Trump was making .

Every time she buys stuff she pays taxes. She has stuff, so she pays taxes.

Your analogy comparing a down and out mom with Germany, France, et al... is kinda silly.
