In a broader sense, the assurance of non-expansion of NATO would have included all border states in the east close to the Soviet Union. It was not only about united Germany as the Biden administration falsely claimed.

 

Who cares? Democratic countries get to chose their own foreign policy. They all wanted to join NATO of their own free will so who cares what a dictator in Russia wants? The Russian dictator doesn't get to veto the will of independent Democratic states.

This is not a good picture in Ukraine's future .. out of ammo .. out of men .. collapsing while Russia is surging ...
