sorry sweetie ... the study of history involves the capacity for critical thinking.

only those who have an elementary school understanding of history swalllow propaganda as a substitute for history.

including the lies that are put out to justify american war crimes.

what did Eisenhower have to say about Hiroshima in an interview in 1963?

go and do some research and get back to me.

Got some sources (links) to support your claim ? What other group ? Sounds pretty unlikely to me.

Eisenhower still remains my favorite president because of his high taxation on the rich (91-92%), and his committment to a big, strong government with a strong national defense and homeland security. He was the exact opposite of the worst president we ever had, Ronald Reagan who singlehandedly changed the definition of a Conservative, from what Ike was, to the PSUEDO-Conservatives we see in the Republicans today, with their abysmal Reaganist ideas of low taxes for the rich and small government.

So if I oppose Ike on anything, I mean it. Yeah, I know what he said about Hiroshima. I know exactly what he said. He was wrong. One of his mistakes was talking about the Pacific War. He had enough to do with the war in Europe. He also made a huge blunder by getting us involved in Vietnam, instead of letting the Vietnamese hold their election and elect Ho Chi Minh (who, BTW wasn't a communist, he was a fierce nationalist - diametric opposite of communism). There's a little history for you. No charge.

When he says he doesn't care what the Koran says, he's simply saying that it is the actions of radical Muslims that matter, no matter what the Koran says. That doesn't excuse the Koran. It simply means the terrorism of Al Qaeda, Al Shabaab, Jumat al-Fuqra, et al and the non-violent Steath Jihad of the Muslim Brotherhood is first and foremost. Talk all the theory you want to talk, the task at hand is to stop pushy Muslims from changing America (et al countries) into an Islamic state, as they have been doing piece by piece, over time. Get it ?

"Only in recent years" ? What year would you say ?

And what do you think would have happened in some Muslim countries, if "friendly" dictators (Mubarek for instance) had not been propped up ?

Man, do you ever have to be kidding ! Wow. Let's take all your misstatements one at a time.

    1. Did you not see the last 7 words of my quote ? > "continues to do so now in 2011". I'm talking about the present as well as any other time.

    2. You're sure that "Christianity has killed more then 270 million people" ?.
Really ? That has to qualify has one of the most WRONG statement s I have ever heard. Christianity has killed almost nobody except for the Inqiusitions, and that is estimated (Wikipedia) to have killed about 150,000 at the most. Do the math. 270 Million is 1800 times as many any 150,000.

    3. The Crusades, beginning in 1099 AD, were a response to 477 years of Muslim marauding all over Asia Minor, southern Europe and North Africa. Only question is what took them so long to take action to stop it ?

    4. I don't know who you are referring to about Christians slaughtering Christians, or invasions either. What invasions ? Where ? I know of no invasions where Christians invaded places, and imposed Christianity by force upon people, as Muslims have done for 1400 years, do you ? And I think that Christians have a very good record on the treatment of others. Look up Catholic Charities and see all the work they've done for a very long time in 3rd world countries helping poor people there. And you could visit thousands of Christian churches, this week, where food pantries are distributing food to the poor, here in the USA. Sometimes they pay electric bills too.

Really? So what is Taqiyya? And "apparently"???

Perhaps you should trust Wiki more than SOIA or Jihadwatch

I recently read some KKK pamphlets and according to them, they are a Christian organization. The propoganda was full of bible quotes and one of their stated objectives was to keep the US a Christian nation.

Obviously we could debate about whether or not they're good Christians, but they most certainly are selling themselves as Christians. At least the Ohio chapter where the literature in question originated.

Are you ignoring the LRA again?

That 270 million figure again. LOL. Is it not great how Christians managed to convert most of Africa and western Europe from their pagan and polyeism beliefs without a drop of blood during the Roman and British empires!!!

    http://articles.exchristian.net/2002/10/how-many-people-have-been-killed-by.php

So in your country, you rely on charities to help the poor. In Islamic countries it is a law to pay a tax to help the poor.

Native Americans, Aborigginies and peoples of Africa haven't been put into inferior slave positions by White people preaching Bible to uncivilized souls while Native Americans including natives all around Caribbean and Oceania were practically reduced to couple of hundreds.

    I quote this again:

When the missionaries came to Africa they had the Bible and we had the land. They said "Let us pray." We closed our eyes. When we opened them we had the Bible and they had the land.
    Desmond Tutu

So you basically refuse to accept historical facts that don't fit your theory :hmm:

No more or less than anyone else? Muslims aren't inherently more or less trustworthy than anyone else. They are, you know, regular people. There's good and bad folks in any crowd.

A source and a link are 2 different things. If you don't want to answer the question, that's OK.

    1. Yeah, I would ignore the LRA. It's a syncretic "Christian" organization, and thereby non-Christian, or about as Christian as, you might say, the Mormon Church. Besides, I was talking about Muslims (the TOPIC of this thread) not Christians.

    2. Yeah, the 270 million figure again. HA HA. What's so funny ? You need the sources provided again now (Tears of Jihad), for the 4th time ? Want to choose from the 17 Million Google hits on it ? Or just take this one > http://www.politicalislam.com/tears/pages/tears-of-jihad/

    3. In my country, the poor (from many countries - maybe yours too) are helped by tax-supported assistance + charities.

All you are doing is the common Islamapologist ploy of equating missionaries with mass murder. Sorry, that doesn't fly. Sure there were mass murders in the Western Hemishere but it wasn't missionaries who committed them, nor were they committed in the name of Christianity. The missionaries did their religious thing, the conquistadores did their conquering thing, and they did it for wealth, and land, and patriotism, not religion.
As for the missionaries, they probably got killed by natives, as much as natives got killed by military conquerers.

Try reading a newspaper once in awhile .. perferably something other than a US news but even the US reports these things.

Have you never heard of the Occupation in Iraq and Afghanistan ? Do you know the numbers of innocents have been killed there ?

How many innocents have been killed in Palestine ?

To be honest recent history is not nearly as bad as if you go back a couple of decades .. then things get really nasty.

A one sided perspective is rarely a good thing.

Sounds like you don't know the basics about Islam. You can start your learning process with these :

"Believers, make war on the infidels who dwell around you. Deal firmly with them. Know that God is with the righteous." (Quran 9:123, "Repentance," Dawood, p. 206)

"Men have authority over women because God has made the one superior to the other, and because they spend their wealth to maintain them. Good women are obedient. They guard their unseen parts because God has guarded them. As for those from whom you fear disobedience, admonish them and forsake them in beds apart, and beat them." (Quran 4:34, "Women," Dawood, p. 83)

Yes .. this claim is beyond absurd.

In 1850 the total population of the earth was 1 billion people.

Yeah, I've heard of Iraq & Afghanistan. Iraq's occupation is debatebale with a number of contentious criterea, no the least of which is Iran's eyes on Iraqi oil. Afghanistan's war is not debateable. We in America, have been attacked by Al Qaeda repeatedly, and Afghanistan is/was their headquarters of operation for administration and training of terrorists. When you are attacked, you don't sit and wait to be attacked again. You go get your enemy wherever they are (just like US troops did in World War II).
Also, the Taliban in Afghanistan have attacked US troops and defined themselves as enemy too. They also represent a threat to combine with the Taliban in Pakistan and Al Qaeda to topple Pakistan's fragile government allowing a nuclear arsenal to fall into the hands of the world's worst Islamic terrorists. Get it ?

So these "other groups" you refer to - are they killing in self defense, as Us troops did in World War II and Afghanistan, or are they killing because of a genocidal book of hate like the Koran ? And you still haven't said who they are or provided any source of information. Couple of decades ? 1991 -Desert Storm ? Is that what you're referring to ?

You never heard of the Thirty Years Wars?

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thirty_Years_Wars

Here, now you can research it yourself. The estimated death toll of this one little war is estimated to be around 8 million.

Primarily, it was Catholics Vs. Lutherans, although more Protestant sects got involved as well.

    Mod edit:Insult.

    [/QUOTE]

    I do get it.

    1) Taliban are not Al Qaeda .. Sure they support each other but they are different groups.

The Taliban did not commit 911 or have anything to do with it.

Taliban has never attacked "America" and had not attacked Americans until we went into their country.

Granted they are a good for nothing bunch and I do recognize there is a strategic interest in stopping nuclear proliferation but this is a separate issue.

There have been many "innocents" killed in Pakistan and Afghanistan that are not Taliban and the actions had nothing to do with Al Qaeda or nuclear proliferation.

    1. Christians fighting Christians. Yes that's a bad thing. But it is a long past bad thing wheras Muslim jihad continues now in 2011, every day.

    2. Mod Edit:Response to edited comment.

    3. Upon what do base the ludicrous statement that my avatar stands against everything I stand in favor of ? Seems to me, it is perfectly consistent with what I stand for > protecting the American people from imperialist conquerers.

You are obviously cherry picking. I can find a few passages in the Bible that state beating your wife is okay. I assume you would disagree with that and tell me I was wrong, though...
