Yeah, well the Pat's went on to blow out the broncos, so you would have more credence in your pick if you were to change your avatar by sporting a pic of Brady...the world's greatest quarterback of all time. I don't think he plays a game without breaking a record or two in the process. And did you see the football's worse defense give tebow all kinds of fits? The Patriots have to be the odds on favorites to win the super bowl. BTW, has there ever been a better more effrective tight end combo in the history of the NFL then that of Hernandez and Gronkowski? YEE-HAW!

Aside the fact that the Patriots were caught illegally videotaping a Jets practice...basically cheating...they played a weak Denver team tonite with an inexperienced QB. At home... Trust me if the Pats make it to the SB against the Packers.. An experienced QB like Rogers will make mincemeat out of that defense...even with Belichick's propensity to cheat...

Packers to repeat..yes they are just that good. Patriots are an aging team and get them against an elite team and we will see how weak that defense of theirs really is....

What in the world does that event of a few years back have to do with the present Patriot team? So how weak was that Denver team against perhaps the best defensive team... the Steelers last week?

I'm not so sure the pack is going to beat the momentum rolling Giants. But even if they do and somehow luck out to get to the super bowl...it will be the Patriots the most excitng team in football who will be doing the steamrolling. Did you even see the Patriot defense tonight where they sacked tebow around 5 times and tackled the running backs for minus yardage time and time again? Lets get real here...the Patriots are the super unstoppable team here. Btw, are you and old timer related or something?

You obviously haven't followed the Patriots. I believe the Patriots are the youngest team in the NFL, and I also believe that Brady is their oldest player, and I think you would agree that Brady's age isn't a detriment to his overall effectiveness as a player... LOL!!!!!! :-D

Well I hate to harp on a subject but I just have to say I tod you so that NO would lose to the 49ers and so would denver.

And now I have to repeat myself again. Green Bay will win the super bowl.

LOL! How you can keep saying that after watching the super Patriots beat up on their first opponent is beyond me. The Super Bowl will be a cake walk for the super Patriots.

Did Denver's defense get off of the plane???

Anyway, it was a good run fo them and the players made some bonus cash. There were lots of teams who wish they weren't watching from home but the talking heads now are bashing tebow (who couldn't prevent the 45 points btw)

I was surprised that after 5 turnovers that the Saints were still in the game and that SF could not put the game away. I'd say SF is now playing on pure luck and are done

lol. I know it's kind of weird, but on the pro level I root for the Texans and the Cowboys in certain games. I also root for Baylor and Tech at times on the college level.

The Texans put up a better fight than I expected. I honestly didn't think they could win, but I was pulling for them. The three teams I was pulling for this year (since the bottom fell out for my Colts) was Denver, San Fran., and them. San Fran's the only one of those three still alive. I kind of hope Green Bay loses, so it goes to San Fran and not Lambeau Field, but I prefer the Packers over the Giants. If Green Bay didn't have home field advantage, I think the 49ers can take them, but I'm not so sure about in Lambeau. Then again, the Saints seemed to have all kinds of hype going into last night's game and the 49ers still won.

Anyhow, I'm pulling for a Ravens/ 49ers Super Bowl. (because I hate the Patriots) Them beating Denver had no effect on my opinion. I hate them because as a Colts fan, I still consider them our arch-enemy. When we're back on our feet next year, they'll still be our arch-enemy.

That Ravens game was 2 good defensive performances, coupled with the absolute worst, most horrendous and uninspiring performance by the Ravens offense I've ever seen. If our O does not improve and play with some intensity the Pats will (*)(*)(*)(*)ing kill us next week.

Well, it was a good season. A lot of magic happened considering all we went through with injuries and such and it was fun to be part of. And Yates did a much better job than I expected. We were definitely the underdog today, but we still had a decent chance to win, and I honestly believed that all the way down to the last play of the game. The game went almost exactly as I expected. We just got beat by a team that was a little bit better than us. No shame in that. I have to tip my hat to the Ravens. They played well.

But I'm proud of my guys. If we can re-sign the people we need to re-sign and keep everybody healthy next year, it should be another good year next year too.

Say goodnight, Packers...so much for my prediction.

Are any of the remaining teams capable of beating the Patriots?

I don't think so...looks like another SB ring for Brady.

I've already had to eat crow once today...perhaps it's only fitting the Ravens are my last hope.

That's provided our O-line actually feels like blocking next week.

You know, the sad thing is having read you here is that you're not joking, you really do take in monthly welfare checks. But I guess it should come as no surprise, indeed a fact and perhaps humorous that you would bet your entire welfare check on a team that has zero chance of beating America's most exciting team....the Patriots. Please don't let your gambling foolishness prevent you from collecting food stamps, for poverty, hunger and lousy sports picks could lead to a miserable life.

It was interesting to see hernandez as a running back at times

    Three questions:

    1. What are you doing wasting so much time on the internet if you're on welfare?

    2. Why are you gambling with your welfare checks?

    3. Are you joking? (please tell me this post was made in jest)

Heh, then may the 49ers make the Giants cry back to you. They deserve this much more. The only thing I'm worried about is the Pats. I hope Baltimore finds way to shut Brady and company down. Down with the New England!

    Go Baltimore and 49ers!

I got 3 out of 4 correct again!! :angered:

    For this week I like

    Patriots over Ravens

I think Tom Brady is on a mission, and with all the weapons he has, I don't think the Ravens can do any more than slow them down, and I don't think Joe Flacco can keep up.

    Giants over 49ers

This is a hard game to predict. I think they are pretty evenly matched, but I think the Giants will win. I think there pass rush is going to fluster Smith, and I don't think Eli gets flustered.

So a rematch of the 2007 super bowl, but this time, the Patriots will win.
