    What help?

All the tanks and guns and bombs and planes we sent you. How many of us died getting them to you.
You may have fought battles on your own, as did we, but you only just won them. And only because Germanies forces were split onto other fronts. The same is true for us.

Still if you feel that way, then you feel that way. You are not a people to be honoured or respected.
I'll advocate for my govt to arm Ukraine against you. Just as we armed you against Hitler.
Since it doesn't help you won't care. Oh and we'll arm some other enemies of your too. Make this a war on multiple fronts for you too. It didn't help you so it won't help your enemies.
    Ingratitude is debt worth repaying.

You can be honoured and respected as the saviours of Europe by your fellow saviours, or you can be demonised as another of it's many evil persecutors by it's saviours.
Up to you. Pick your side..

Germany needed land, and the time honored method was to get it by heading eastwards and killing the Slavs... something that didn't suit the Russians, so they reacted to German ambitions the same way as it has always reacted to the West ...and in the process lost over twenty million people.

Hitler thought of Britain as a natural ally, but the British elite didn't think so, so they honored their treaty with Poland and entered the war. This might be why Hitler had plans to kill all of Britains elite if he ever conquered the island. Roosevelt saved them.

All in all, the Western front was not a major concern to Adolph Hitler, and the only reason Serbia was attacked was because they needed to go through them to get to Greece and end Mussolini's defeat and humiliation. All the Balkans was taken and the major battle was at Crete. Britain needed it desperately to preserve its life line to the Suez. They had a combined force of 27,000 men and yet they didn't have a single plane left, while the Germans had hundreds.

Britain and all of Europe were goners, even though they were secondary to Germany's main aim which was to extend Eastwards. The real war was between Russia and Germany, as it has always been. As one German said, if we don't stop this obsession with Russia, the third time will be our last.

Hitler had more than plans for Britain's political elite. He planned to enslave and deport every male over the age of 15 to build fortifications on the Russian front. Essentially his deal was to enslave/exterminate the male population completely. Same old Hitler.

    Roosevelt didn't save us.
The Battle of Britain predates Russia and America joining the war.

Rommel's Africa Korps took valuable resources away from the Eastern front and vice versa.
Other attempts were made to invade western Europe and successfully repelled. Again this split Hitlers forces. He had to deploy armies in all the Atlantic/Baltic coastlines for the duration of the war.
We didn't just keep one of his armies off you, but also an Italian one and two navies and and two airforces.

Defending Russia's eastern front, was no longer necessary after the US joined the war in the pacific. Drawing off Japanese forces from the region. This freed up the Siberian Army to join in the fight vs Hitler at a critical point. Turning the tide at Stalingrad.

Crete is not on the way to Suez. Not part of the logistical train.
Forces were diverted from Suez (Egypt) to defend it. After they lost the batlle of Crete, they returned to successfully end Axis pretensions in Africa.

Then in 1944, the (*)(*)(*)(*) hit the fan we landed in three places opened 3 new fronts in Europe simultaneously. One West, two south.
And then it was the race to Berlin. A race Russia won. But only by hours.

Had the war lasted 2 weeks longer, Germany would have been nuked by the US and GB. We had it down without you anyway. Not that we knew this at the time!

Roosevelt sent food, and the trucks to deliver the food to Russia at Churchill's request to ease the blockade of Leningrad where over a million people were starving. With the German advance into Russian territory, the people lost their land and sustenance... and many ran into Leningrad, which overwhelmed the city.

What we gave was a lend lease, and the Soviet Union paid the US back for the food and for the trucks that were needed to travel the 5,000 miles from Iran or Vladivostok to Leningrad.

I don't know of any arms given to the Soviet Union, and when the Germans attacked they thought the USSR had about 5,000 tanks, and it turned out to be 35,000 instead... and believe it or not, they were better than the German ones.

A lesson that should have been learned from WWII is to never under estimate Russia's military strength or the Russian people, who have an amazing capacity to unite when faced with an affront on their nation and heritage.

Two events were crucial and somewhat coincidental..Jun 6 1944 operation overlord ..Normandy..something like 240000 stormed the beaches and began pushing westward..the on eastern front..operation Bagration..Jun 22 1944..something like 250 Soviet divisions or close to 3 mln troops...half of them perished in battle..or POW..this moved followed Normandy...so is it coincidence ?

No co-incidence. The war was co-ordinated between Stalin, Churchill and Roosevelt.

We were allies when it really counted. I hope we shall be next time too.

I came across this WWII documentary before on the Battle of Crete. It shows that the British were surrounded by the Germans. The British had a combined force of 72,000 on Crete and were told to hold on to the island at all costs since it was the only opening they had to the Suez. They couldn't get any supplies on the island though, and they lost all their planes. It's an interesting documentary.

What you said though about freeing up men from the East to fight at Stalingrad is interesting and more than likely true, because I remember reading how shocked the Germans were that an endless amount of men kept coming from the East.

Correct up until the point about Suez.

Crete is no where near Suez. Not on the route of resupply to Egypt at all. Thousands of miles in the wrong direction.
Resupply to Suez through the Med was via Malta. UK, Gibraltar, Malta, Egypt.
Or from the other direction. India, Australia, through Suez to Egypt.

Greece were our allies, hence Crete.
30,000 commonwealth troops were deployed in it's (failed) defence.

Did you look at the documentary? I thought they said Suez and that it was essential to hold Crete for that reason? also I believe they said something like 72,000 combined troops, which would have been Greek ones as well.

When you look at Russia, think Constantinople and the Orthodox faith. This is why it differs from Western Europe. Russia's civilizational foundation is based on the original Greek/Latin Christianity of Constantinople and the early Church, while Western Europe bases theirs on the Rome that came about by the Germanic invasions.

Oh you mean sending in men to blow up civilians is not terrorism? Then what is terrorism fighting armies?

Getting back to the topic and the foiled terrorist attacks on Crimea... according to Stormfront, the Russian Ministry of Defense is not considering massive military strikes on Ukrainian territory as an answer to the terrorist attacks attempted by the Ukrainian intelligence.

What Russia might do though, is allow the Donetsk People's Republic to respond to the continuous shelling by the Ukrainian army of its civilian population. The last time they were allowed to respond, Ukraine suffered immense casualties... although one can't be sure if they were Ukrainian nationalists, or the mercenaries that were killed?

Donetsk people's republic..you mean zakarchenkos Chechen mercenary army of muggers and rapists..hopefully they end up as roadkill as what most mercenaries deserve! These vermin will realize that the Russians are basically using them as cannon fodder. But that what animals deserve I guess!

ever heard of Soviet tanks? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/T-34 - the Soviets had their own tanks a plenty, and they were much better than those few sent in by West Allies.

as if the USSR did not itself produce these in large amounts... how about men?

the WWII was a war fought on land, it was infantry & land troops that did most fighting, not air force.

read up on Guderian, who fought on East Front and had much more to do than Rommel, because the East Front was the war fought for real. Rommel had it not nearly as hard as Guderian.

how many men Japan could field at the moment and how skillfully/fiercely they fought as compared to Nazi Germany's on East Front? Japan lacked manpower and skill to fight in such a war as WWII; they had once lost to the Soviets in 1938 - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kwantung_Army#Second_World_War

    Mister Baff.

You hate Russia because the Crimean residents did not want to live under the authority of the Kiev rebels?

Well I may say this...according to a family member of mine on the father's side..who was a Soviet infantryman late43-45, fought at Kharkov, kyiv, Warsaw, Berlin, and deserted Soviet army in Berlin along with hundreds of others to the Yanks stated that he saw tons of aid from USA for their troops, from socks to toothbrushes, SPAM canned meat, by the millions of tins, also military hardware especially Willy's jeeps, half-tracks, etc...I would take their word since they were there firsthand.

According to recent reports, Google is considered the most dangerous propaganda and mind control site in existence. They first post whichever articles and references will benefit their agenda, knowing that it's the best way to brainwash and manipulate people's minds.

The fear is that it might be having a strong impact on the election towards Clinton ...who as we all know is a war monger and probably the most corrupt person to ever run for office in the US.

I would question the references on the first few pages of google the same as I would anything I read in the MSM. (This is not true you know since I read nothing in the MSM. Their lies make me sick to my stomach.)
