‘No short cut’ to Mideast peace, Obama says on Palestinian bid for statehood

The problem is that palestine isn't a nation. It is has two governments and two discrete isolated territories. It lacks sovereignty which is the very foundation of what a nationstate is all about.

This is nothing but a political maneouver that amounts to a pr exercise.
The palestinians have been conquered numerous times, yet the still want to negotatiate as tho they won their wars. they didn't and to the losers do not go the spoils.

 

This is only because Israel hopes to prevent the international community from recognizing the nation of Palestine while opposing expanding illegal settlements. Yet, political parties within Palestine are just as capable as operating with each other as in any other nation.

 

Don't care for Obama's remarks, since America's failings are all over the place.

Anyhow, AbuSina, Palestine currently is an "observer entity" not an "observer state" -- which is what Sarkozy is suggesting. And that is, btw, the only possible outcome if USA vetoes in UNSC, since to become a "memberstate" you need approval of UNSC and General Assembly.

 

Sure there will be...it's just a matter of time.

 

None of this would be happening today if Obama wasn't incredibly incompetent. Not to mention that if he didn't secretly support it, he could have stopped it long ago from happening by withdrawing UN funding and ending foreign aid for the PA and everyone else that supports this monstrosity, which is what Reagan did when Arafat tried to pull this same stunt years ago.

Nevertheless, Obama's hands are tied at this point. If he went ahead and supported Palestinian statehood he would be tarred and feathered and run out of America by the American people. What more do you want him to do? He has already lost the Jewish vote in America, which is pretty (*)(*)(*)(*) hard to do. As a matter of fact, he is the first Dhimmicrat President to ever manage to do that and you have to be pretty (*)(*)(*)(*) anti-Israel and pro-jihad to do that.

 

Show me someone who is gullible enough to swallow Muslim taqiyya lock, stock, and barrel with respect to the permanent jihad of conquest being waged perpetually against the Jewish infidels in Israel and I'll show you someone completely and utterly ignorant of Islam.

Nevertheless, if there is ever a Palestinian state created, it will not mean peace. It will mean more and greater jihad, as the jihad the Islamic world is waging perpetually against the Jewish infidels in Israel via their proxy – the so-called Palestinians – is permanent and will continue to be waged perpetually as long as Israel continues to exist. Exactly like the greater global jihad at large will also continue to be waged perpetually as long as there are kafir infidels that haven't been forced to submit to the authority of Islam.

As a matter of fact, they have Republicans winning elections for Congress for the first time in 80 years in Dhimmicrat majority districts today and that is unheard of. Indeed, after the 2012 elections, both houses of Congress and the Presidency too will be solidly in the hands of right wingers, and Israel will be home free for years to come. Hence, if you guys want to destroy Israel in the near term, you guys only have a small window of opportunity to do it, because if you guys wait until after the 2012 elections, you will never be able to do it for years to come.

Palestine has been negociating for decades with isreal, and both never come to a conclusion and they never resolve their conflicts. Apparently, they do not have the capacity to do it. As a result, a neutral party like the UN should be involved to decide their faith. No matter what palestine has done to comply, the isrealis will not acknowlege that they are human.

USA should stay out of this, because they are bias in the process. Untill the USA has Palistine politicians in congress sitting next to all the jewish senators and representatives the USA's jewish political sympathizers will always be bias against palistine. In addition, untill the jewish owned broadcast media and entertainment industry can have palestine corporations broadcasting propaganda, the simple minded conservatives in the USA will always be against Palistine.

Obama should stay out of this, and quit sucking up to the jewish voter. This is still the USofA, not the capital of isreal and not the anti-palistinian liberation organization.

Obama needs to get a grip on world politics and world culture relations. His jewish advisors like joe liberman are steering him and the USA on a run away train to world failure.

Don't you guys usually argue that the US needs to get out of the UN? The need for you guys to realize your interests on the matter is becoming more relevant as each day passes. Why not have the US finally get out of the UN instead of endlessly recommending such?

 

As long as we are footing most of their budget we get most of the say.
