    Yes but gender is not biological sex.

    There is no science behind gender except psychological.

    And that's not a hard science, its all touchy feely.

    But we don't base our societal norms on mutations. A person pretending to be the opposite sex is not even in the realm of a true hermaphrodite to try to conflate them is absurd. Special allowances could be made the case on genital mutilations and how to person chooses to handle it.

    Just religious fundies in general. Odd, you thought it was specifically christian? So, you must be in agreement with my statement and felt I left out other religions.

    And that's the point of this law.

    In those cases a person can identify with what the science determines they are, not what they choose to think they are.

    I think its a great move by Trump.

    So you claim people who are banned from no-fly lists are fine to have boatloads of guns are fine, but transgender folks are to be denied their 2nd Amendment rights?

    Its a group of people identified by shared characteristics, habits, or interests.

    But since most here are not biologists I am not going to get all scientificty with them.

    You make sweeping generalizations and disingenuously misstate the Rights viewpoint on guns. Military hardware has nothing to do with the 2nd A. Putting a group of people in the military where you can expect 41% to attempt suicide is crazy talk. Those with a lot less mental issues can't enlist. And BTW, the issue with no fly lists is there is no due process involved. There are mistakes made and the person doesn't know about it until he/she tries to fly or buy a gun.

    And that's fine, as Trump said, based on the science we will determine one's biological sex.

    If they are mixed up chromosomes we will go with that and they will probably get to choose.

    Most won't however.

    This is the way it should be.
