A day late, and a dollar short for Kanye in Wisconsin. Pretty much impossible for him to get 270 electoral votes at this point. I am not sure that he will have anything more than a negligible impact on this election. Better luck next time.

If you listen really closely you can almost make out the sound of Trump crying

Even if he was on the ballot, he had ZERO Chance to move the needle. None

In fact, any state where he is appearing on the ballot he has as much of a chance to move the needle as a wisp of steam in a hurricane.

Technically, per the article, he was "one to two minutes late". Denying someone who otherwise met all the requirements and paid all the fees to enter the race because their paperwork was filed 60 or so seconds late is absolutely moronic. Clearly this was politically motivated and the bi-partisan panel of commissioners believe that Kanye is going to "steal votes" from their side. And a pretty hypocritical one at that as quick google of the Wisconsin elections commission's members history produced this:

So they're standing firm on the grounds that 60 whole seconds past a deadline is an absolute disqualifier from being on a ballot but apparently not even living in the state isn't a disqualifier for casting one? Only in America...

But anyways, I wouldn't count him out yet. He has 30 million followers on Twitter and I think its around the same on Insta. His name might not appear as a line item on the ballot but there's nothing stopping people from writing it in. Now Wisconsin is one of those states where write-in candidates actually have to be registered as well but only as far as the vote actually being counted. If we asked 10,000 voters I bet 1 of them would know that about write-in ballots and of course poll workers are not obligated to inform people of this unless they specifically ask to see the list of registered write-in candidates. So if Kanye wanted he could raise support on his own, people can write his name, and even though they wouldn't likely count for him they wont be counting for anyone else either.

Nonsense. It's a publicity stunt by Kanye to help boost his brand.
It's the sort of scripted melodrama that media whores and mental defectives like trump and Kanye regularly trot out to help their brands.

That's what they said about trump in 2016 and now he is the POTUS.

Why are you trying to keep Kanye down?

I just wish we could see Kanye debate Biden. It would be comic gold 1) watching Biden try to keep his bigotry in check, and 2) watching Biden's befuddled old brain even try to make sense of Kanye's ranting. Maybe Biden could call Kanye a dog faced pony soldier and remind him he's not really black if he votes against old Joe.

Hopefully he'll shut this all down soon and start taking better care of his mental health. Keeping his family in my thoughts.

Biden, or Kanye? Because your comment could apply to either one, LOL. Kanye is nuts, Biden has dementia, six of one, half dozen of the other.

I've seen about as many signs of "dementia" for Biden as I have for Trump. Both seem mild. Neither bother me. Kanye, on the other hand, has very severe bipolar disorder. Unlike with Biden and Trump, that isn't armchair speculation. He definitely has it, and it has definitely been hurting him and his family. He needs help again. I hope he seeks it. I've seen firsthand what this can do to a family when untreated.

I'd rather watch Kanye debate Kimmy....

Back on topic, I think the fraud allegation regarding signatures and lying to signers should have ruled the day over being a tad late, but whatever gets the job done...

Excellent post; the entire process is criminally corrupt, and that ANYONE would applaud this is repulsive.

Cheat-by-mail would shift more votes than Kanye, depending on the state.

Who wants to bet that Kanyes plan is to keep this up and drop his completed but unreleased new Album on Election day?

Don’t fret. We’re making sure that the repubs don’t fiddle with the mail.
They’re grilling trump’s postmaster lapdog in Congress and he’s already sweating bullets about being caught trying to rig the election for the orange dotard.

Yep. Not my jam, but someone on Reddit pointed out that this always seems to happen when Kanye has a new album, and surmises that it's because he goes off his meds to help with the creative process and once that part is done, likely has to be convinced to go back on them. Wouldn't surprise me.

Yep, because nothing sells music albums like a massively failed attempt at a 3rd party run for US President??

Anybody who would already shell out money for that guy will still do so.... Most won't...

As you appear to be a Kanye for President supporter, could you provide me with some insight on why you believe he would make a good POTUS?

Just trying to keep election officials from demonstrating their racism so boldly.

This isn't about insight, this is about the white man keeping Kanye down.

Its shameful to bring up anything else.

I'm tempted to go burn something right now, maybe some toast.
