I dont know what rule you are talking about, but the DoJ banned the braces in response to the shooting, like Trump's DoJ did to bump stocks in reponse to the Vegas shooting

The own rule being referred to is the ATF's ruling that said braced pistols didn't qualify as SBRs.

The Constitution says guns are untouchable.

And what does “statutory definitions” have to do with the arguement?

Employed in mass shootings in Colorado, Ohio, and Tennessee, resulting in close to twenty five innocent people including kids being killed

Because statutory definitions are the law. Just like when the ATF tried (is trying?) to redefine what a machine gun is. The ATF can't do that. Only Congress can.

A braced pistol wasn't used in Nashville. Stop posting misinformation.

No it doesn’t, even Scalia admitted such, no Constitutional right is absolute, they all are, and have always been, regulated

He was talking about nukes and air-to-air missiles, not bearable arms.

What does "shall not be infringed" mean?

Uh, not just close, but dead on. The ATF can't change words in the text of a law.

Should prisoners be allowed to own guns in prison? How about upon release?

No, the context was bearable arms specifically.

They didn't, and neither did Trump when he did the same with bump stocks.

In prison? No, more should they be able to vote, or excercise free speech. Read the 5th Amendment, especially the part about due process of the law.

    Upon release? Sure. Why not?

    Ok. So guns ARE touchable

Because vast majority of people do not want to arm violent criminals, and because the Constitution gives the government the mandate to insure domestic tranquility. Arming dangerous people would make that task very difficult. Same goes with arming the mentally insane. Some things are just common sense.

You mean you don’t know the Second Amendment?

It contains a prefatory clause and operative clause, the first making the second functioning, read the Heller case, Scalia’s own majority opinion explains it fully

Basic civics, Congress makes the laws and the Executive branch executes the laws, we all learned that in elementary school

Right. And the Executive Branch can't change, nor make laws as it sees fit.

The 2nd Amendment states that the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. Thats the only "clause" in the 2nd Amendment.

Owning guns has nothing to do with being in a militia.

No amount of $5 words is going to change that fact.
