You mean besides that fact that Mexico will not pay for the wall and it's a myth that you can build a secure, 3,000 mile long border wall? THE ONLY FIX IS TO GO AFTER THE ILLEGAL EMPLOYERS AS MORE UNDOCUMENTED JUSY OVERSTAY THEIR VISA THAN CROSS THE BORDER ILLEGALLY!

"Judge F. Dennis Saylor in Boston ruled Mexico’s claims did not overcome the broad protection provided to gun manufacturers by the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act passed in 2005."

Generally speaking, Mexicans cannot buy guns in the United States. So you're comparing US gun stores selling firearms to American citizens on US soil to the Obama/Biden administration going to Mexico to transfer weapons directly to the cartels with the expressed hope that they would be used during murders so they could track them and their usage. That's a stupid comparison.

I doubt if the corrupt government could have met a standing test either but when you have a clear law that precludes the suit, its a 12b6 dismissal. Perhaps we should sue Mexico for all the crime created by illegals and all the drugs imported into the USA by Mexican drug gangs. Since most of the weapons drug gangs in Mexico are using came from the military or police supplies, I suspect the US would come out ahead if both suits went forward.

I'm wondering why you think I missed the things you point out. Sure, there would be a negligible effect in 2022. It wasn't signed into law until August!! Come on man!!

After reading thru this thread, it's pretty clear some folks haven't a clue where Mexican cartel get their weapon :)

So taking in to fact that Mexican cartels have access to full autos, rpg rockets hang grenades and pretty much whatever they like, WTF would they want a revolver or a semi auto rifle from Merika???

    Light reading

You should have looked at the statistics before calling it a flat out lie. Now you just look foolish.

I look foolish? You didn't provide any statistics to back that up. Obviously this is a place where anyone can just say what they want and insist it's true.

Did you miss "in calendar year 2023, inflation would probably be between 0.1 percentage point lower and 0.1 percentage point higher under the bill than it would be under current law"

No, but why did you stop there with your quote? Why did you include the part about the uncertainty of the reasoning for those numbers?
"That range of likely outcomes reflects uncertainty about how various provisions of the bill would affect overall demand and output, the supply of labor, the persistence of disruptions in the supply of goods and services, and how the Federal Reserve would respond to offset any increase in inflationary pressure. "

The point is, no one knows at this time.

MORE BS. GOP sets up cover for gun manufacturers, and deprives people of rights to sue for damages, and you use BS talking points that the guns camde from police or military, without proof, which is why Mexico sued to begin with, MANUFACTURERS know where their guns are going and the GOP is simply providing cover

why should anyone be able to sue a gun ,maker for damages over what individuals do illegally. I cannot help it if you didn't read the article that was posted on this thread and which I cited. You clearly are ignorant of the facts concerning this issue

OK. Will you now comment on Biden's State of the Union address claim to fight inflation with free child care? Or would answering that question be uncomfortable?
