It's not harmless. In many if not all individuals it causes hypoxia and hypercapnia. In many it causes candida in the mouth, and many get acne from frequent use.

Forcing children to wear them impacts psychological and physical development. It is child abuse.

I watched it on Tucker. The kid is very brave and his parents are to be commended for their efforts.

His parents are idiots. The kid complains he doesn't get it, and that he feels oncomfortabel with it.
He is old enough to understand that wearing it reduces the chances that people die.
That's where his parents failed him.

As far as I know, nobody has actually died because they wore a mask.
People have died by the millions because of this virus.

And it's nice that this kid is indeed brave. And even though his parents are lousy at teaching him some simple logics about life. It's does remain a bit of a mindblow how a child like that would not figure out why he got a mask himself. The kid aint going places if he remains like this.

Exactly. I saw Tucker and I’ve seen his entire appeal and the young man is exactly right. He brought up experiences he saw in his school or had happened to him personally and made many powerful points. He I think changed the tide on this issue.

The only good points he made was that teachers do not at all times follow their own rules. It just ends there.
His entire plea of that the masks make him uncomfy is just him whining politely, but still whining.
He should have been far more aware the reason why he has to wear a mask.

Jane Elliott convinced an entire class of 8/9 year olds that it's okay to be racist to people who do not have blue eyes and that they are 2nd class, and than later taught the same kids it's okay to be racist to people with blue eyes and that they are 2nd class. The kids even agreed to this experiment, but were simply to dumb to realize that blue / not blue eyes claim was total bs and were in the experiment without them realizing it. Kids that age are that gullible. And this kid is just 1 year older. He tells exactly what his parents taught them, and only recognizes politics if his parents say it is.

A kid "rebels" much later... which you can recognize with them acting stupid because they think they are right and sometimes are right. That is a massive milestone in having your own thoughts first and leave the gullible thing behind.

You probably do wish it was a personal attack. All I have to do is point at your intolerance.

There are no legitimate reasons why students his age have to wear a mask…

Apart from spreading the virus and as an example potentially being able to kill his own teacher by passing the virus to him/her.... sure.

The boy understands the big picture much better than you do. He understands what Rand Paul and most of the country understands--the masks are hypocrisy in action, pure political theater.

His perceptions are much more subtle than yours.

Transmission from child to adult has been extremely rare and if the teacher is vaccinated they have nothing to fear anyway. Making kids wear masks is child abuse pure and simple!

None of that has anything to do with recognizing hypocrisy

I think you have a good point here, that the overt & subliminal brainwashing, psychological conditioning, induction into the societal-fantasy, mental-tilling & conceptual sowing-- whatever you want to call it-- does not spare the young, so it is always advantageous to be aware of one's surroundings, including the lay of the social & subconscious landscapes.

To be clear, I am not advocating parents subjecting their kids to their own indoctrination. And I'm not in favor of denying anyone the pleasures of being a kid. But I think there are certain understandings of which kids are capable, though not generally treated as such. Also, of course, there are vast differences between different children, which can make a world of difference depending on whether or not these individual elements of one's nature are recognized and appreciated.

What I do support, is encouraging kids to think for themselves, when that is feasible. To to do this, though, requires a deep & varied base of knowledge, examples, & opinions; so it's definitely a slow and gradual process. But it begins with understanding that things are not always, maybe even often not, as they appear on their face; and that other people can be horrendously wrong, misguided, dishonest, or have ulterior motives. So it is worth taking information with a bit of salt, and a fair amount of consideration, being open to a wide degree of possibilities.

This particular boy, in the video, is clearly very bright for his age. And, though it is not typical, it is certainly possible that the young man has an innate passion for public speaking, even-- dare I say-- for politics, in a way similar to that of other children who have known their paths, as musical prodigies, for example, or as devotees of one of the sciences, at tender young ages.

All that said, and though it is impossible to know this for sure (though the odds strongly favor it), I feel this boy's opinions were largely shaped by his parents. It is only natural, at that age, to accept the political views of one's parents, as one's own. I believe (though cannot prove, of course) that his parents helped him write parts of his speech, as well. Yet another facet of his undertaking, almost surely, reflects the gratification that comes to a child, by doing something that pleases his parents & makes them proud-- whether that means scoring a goal in a soccer game, or delivering a speech in support of a cause that is near & dear to mom & dad's hearts.

By way of his Operation Warp Speed, Trump delivered the goods for his friends in Pharma, and delivered to the people a dangerous experimental drug.

He was a crook and corrupt man long before he ascended the throne in Washington DC.

What big picture? The guy little says he understands people who are asthmatic do not have to wear a mask, so he demands he shouldn't either.... but there is nothing wrong with him. He just misses looking at peoples faces and how it used to be. And h thinks it will never go back to normal. He has problems running around while wearing one, maybe stop running? Ask a doctors note for it?

There is nothing political about the virus. Rand Paul... is a guy who makes it a political theater and knows a lot about eye surgery.
So you know. Bit weird to accuse around about a political theatre when you're doing it.

    It happens non the less.
And the US was among the worst countries hit at one point, to even the worst hit.
While "the abuse" received is hardly worth mentioning... especially considering other people actually die, by the 100,000's.
