So people with good education and income levels tend not to commit gun crimes? Now we're getting to the root cause and an answer to gun control. We don't need gun control we need people control
We're talking per capita numbers, not total numbers. Vermont has more guns, looser gun laws and less crimes per capita than places with stricter gun control laws.
There's some truth to that. I've said for a while the world in general wasn't really ready for the internet.
So, then, wouldn't it make sense to enact laws that would ensure a mental health check prior to gun purchases?
Population density matters independent of per capita murder rates. If you can't understand that, it's not my problem.
I agree. We need to find the causes of why people shoot others. There will be a large variety, though. It would take an enormous amount of time, though, and in the meantime we can hopefully have better control of who is in possession of said firearm. Not just do one thing to try and fix a devastating issue. Keep in mind it isn't just "mass shooters" like in Tennessee. There are many causes for gun deaths and injuries.
No, the ultimate goal is to ban gun ownership. That cats already out of the bag. Why don't you call your Congress critters and tell them to do things they can do (secure the schools) and stop trying to do things they can't do (ban guns).
All guns fire bullets. Thanks for acknowledging that gun ownership rates are completely irrelevant to gun crime. It's about time!
Generally speaking, More guns = more gun crime and gun related deaths. Hopefully i cleared up your confusion.
It would be easier to acknowledge something different about Vermont than to sit here and try to make excuses for why their statistics are more favorable
I've acknowledges several things that are different about Vermont. You don't seem to want to acknowledge any of those, which seems about white.
Excuse me was your last word a typo or are you trying to imply something negative about me personally?
You're welcome. I'm probably whiter than you, so don't think some minority is trying to hurl slurs at you.
You could try discussing the topic without trying to make me the topic. Go ahead and give that a try. I think Tennessee lawmakers are correct
I think you are desperately trying to get people to say that Vermont has low crime because it's white. You've spent the last dozen or so posts trying to bait people in to saying that.
