You may want to read the Federalist Papers number 84. But Chief Justice Warren and Justice Brennan said it best in the Supreme Court Ruling Gridwold vs Connecticut, “The language and history of the Ninth Amendment reveal that the Framers of the Constitution believed that there are additional fundamental rights, protected from governmental infringement, which exist alongside those fundamental rights specifically mentioned in the first eight constitutional amendments...

"To hold that a right so basic and fundamental and so deep-rooted in our society as the right of privacy in marriage may be infringed because that right is not guaranteed in so many words by the first eight amendments to the Constitution is to ignore the Ninth Amendment and to give it no effect whatsoever. Moreover, a judicial construction that this fundamental right is not protected by the Constitution because it is not mentioned in explicit terms by one of the first eight amendments or elsewhere in the Constitution would violate the Ninth Amendment…

"Nor do I mean to state that the Ninth Amendment constitutes an independent source of right protected from infringement by either the States or the Federal Government. Rather, the Ninth Amendment shows a belief of the Constitution’s authors that fundamental rights exist that are not expressly enumerated in the first eight amendments and an intent that the list of rights included there not be deemed exhaustive."

Additional fundamental rights is also called unenumerated rights within the US Constitution. The US Constitution has listed from the amendments the enumerated rights such as the right to vote for those 18 or older or the right to vote for women or the due process clause, another right, etc. But unenumerated rights simply means not specifically listed in the US Constitution and have been applied by the courts such as the right to travel for instance.

Those are BB guns, air guns, and a few others. But any firearm that shoots bullets must have the FFL license to transport said firearms across state lines. This includes shotguns, rifles, pistols, and even rocket launchers BTW that one person tried to do.

That’s because the constitution doesn’t matter, and if it did you all would recognize this historic fact. Do you think the founders added shall not be infringed, and no law shall be made, as a joke or do you think they meant it?

I am baffled right now. I bet this person has called the cops on multiple law abiding citizens.

Hollywood says the plane would fall apart, but Hollywood also thinks it’s legal to kill someone so long as you didn’t load the gun

Reminds me of the ol' girl that called the cops on me when I bent over and my shirt pulled up exposing my carry piece. She called and "there's a man at Home Depot with a gun!". The cops rolled in like the 2nd Armored Division, ready to get into a fire fight.

She was charged with making a false report. They arrested her on the spot.

Yes, OFFICIAL recitation is restricted, as it should be. The First Amendment demands that government be neutral on religious matters.

owners of private property can make their own rules.
It is a shame such misinformation is so prevalent.

you can lock them in your suitcase and declare them and still travel with them.
Yes, these are the rules/laws, and the owner of the weapon cannot make his own rules, and certain weapons are prohibited.

Edit* they can make some of their own rules, I was referring to weapons on private property. Also, checked bags.

Im saying airlines can as a private entity make some of their own rules. I was noting how this is similar to companies making their own rules about carrying a weapon on their property.

well, they can't allow some things, like they could not offer smoking only flights, etc

For a while you could smoke on planes, that’s changed. You can be so fat you’re not even in your own seat any more and somehow that’s allowed.

seats also used to be bigger, now a normal person can barely fit in one seat

I still can't believe they allow lithium batteries, once new technology comes out, those will be banned on planes for sure due to the fire risk (but is funny how it's not a issue now as no alternatives, but will be too dangerous then)

If a person carries a weapon as part of his daily routine, and some people do that, it is easy to imagine they might forget to remove one from a briefcase or something like that.

Not something you or I would do, but certainly possible and plausible for some.
