Equality is meritocracy. Anything else is the opposite of equality, because your outcomes will be predicated upon 'luck of birth', rather than your efforts. That's as bad as an aristocracy, and belongs in the past.

Meritocracy allows ANYONE to succeed - irregardless of colour, creed, gender or any other luck of birth.

The Chinese were starved last century. The Japanese were interred. Jews were exterminated. Women were made sex slaves in many parts of the world. The Indo-Chinese were subjected to untold horrors in the 1960's/70's. Etc etc.

We all have our issues. A meritocracy allows us to rise above and succeed.

You're in favour of AA, which is race-based advantage - the opposite of equality.

I’ve given you concrete examples in the past.

Of course racism and sexism still exist. But it CLEARLY hasn't stopped the above. That would be because it's not institutionalised, and no kind of deterrent to success.

The law is very clear. For the same job, with same hours, and same qualifications in incumbents, the pay is identical. "Human capital and such like" are not relevant. Jobs are pragmatic agreements, predicated upon QUALIFICATIONS, DUTIES, HOURS WORKED, etc. They are not acts of charity, or friendships.

You know you can't win this one. The law is VERY clear.

Yes, exactly that. Why would you, of all people, want to see that kind of racism perpetuated?

Don't bore me now. Everyone knows that equal pay legislation cannot eliminate discrimination. The people behind the supply side economics that you get excited over also provided the empirical means to test for discriminatory practices. A decomposition method is used to control for human capital variables. Guess what? Discrimination continues to exist.

Now you might want to maintain racist practices. That's your prerogative. Just be a little more honest, for a change.

You were unable to address the evidence I presented then and you aren’t able to now. Thus the BS schtik. LOL

Given the importance of this topic, you might need to justify flippancy with just a little more wit. A mere compensatory tut then.

Then address it, don’t make false claims. Go ahead. Try.

I did, and I looked at realistically and for $100 buck you can get a white prostitute to kiss just about anything! Hell, even your little ditty was more inviting then the OP :nod:

Address what? You haven’t said anything to address. Are you ok? Did you hit your head earlier?

No. I have previous given you evidence contrary to your claim. I’m not the one with memory loss. LOL

Why should I have to repeat what I’ve demonstrated to him in the past? And remember I’m more left wing than yourself so that argument falls flat.

Hahaha...so you think it’s reason to expect me to recall what you posted sometime in the past? Curious, can you recall everything everyone has ever posted to you?

He has no argument. He knows it’s unreasonable to expect I could remember something he posted in the past. So he’s going to resort to childish comments about “memory loss”. It’s all he’s got

No I don’t remember everything. I also don’t claim nobody has done something without evidence knowing I don’t remember everything. You made the claim. Back it up.
