You are making excuses to justify racism. You can bid a lower amount for the contract, better timelines and still get outbid by someone from “minority”, even if they charge higher fees and take longer to complete. This is unfair competition and racial discrimination in the open, legal and systemic.

You said you were never discriminated against. That’s not white privilege, that’s your parents investing into you. There are plenty of white people who are hard workers and who need those contracts to feed those families.
That’s why many conservatives take any new “anti-racism” initiatives with such resistance - hard working people will be discriminated even more with each new law.
True anti-racism comes with true and fair competition. If you are trying to bring up all races at the expense of one singled out group then you have legal systemic racial discrimination.

This does not prove racial discrimination against whites. If majority ownership of businesses in Chicago means there is no discrimination against whites then one can argue there is no discrimination against blacks because the US had a black president.

No, you did not prove me wrong. My point stands - there is racial discrimination against whites because the city makes it difficult to whites to bid for contracts. Most business owners I know who do such contracts register their businesses on their wives.

It’s difficult to compete when minorities bid, because discrimination kicks in. How can you not understand that? You completely ignore the process and claim end statistics as proof that the process is clean and fair, which is not the case.

 

Again, our government provides tax credits to businesses who hire minority contractors but not for hiring white ones. By any measure of the word that’s discrimination based upon race.
