Perhaps you can explain what the theory of the second best is and use reliable cited sources that correspond to the explanation, and then explain how that is used to justify affirmative action and logically preclude it as a form of systemic racism against whites.

You can shout, so you can answer a question: Why is it that when right wingers attack others for their agenda, using vocab such as "dumb as dirt", they insist on using terribly simplistic plea requiring herd justification?

That amused me. You can't use Google all of a sudden? Is it for religious reasons?

I would love to do that in a heartbeat, if we're going to have a discussion we need to have a real discussion on meritocracy. By one's ability, not by the color of one's skin. Enough excuses, it's undermined minority communities enough.

The more you reply, the more I am convinced you are Golem.

Here's the thing: I don't make your arguments for you. I am not your proxy. You do your own research. The onus is on you to make your own arguments, backing up your points. You explain what the aforementioned theory is with cited sources, and then logically tie it to an explanation of how affirmative action is not systemic racism against whites.

I think it breeds racism against minorities who, perhaps, actually deserve to be at prestigious institutions because of merit, not their skin color; it stirs up thoughts that they needed a helping hand--one hand to pull them up, another hand to push a white or an Asian away from the spot they took at the institution. It's unfortunate. I hope Reiver will stand with me against this racism.

Hahaha! I merely asked you to do some reading. You asked me to set you homework. I thought that was a bit weird.

Here's how it works. I say something true: the theory of the second best refers to how equal treatment for identical agents is only optimal in the absence of distortions such as discrimination. You then do some reading. While you'll reject the truth, because of right wing dissonance, it will still impact on your thought processes. Get going!

I have always thought the reason you and your people (waving the flag of slavery) were so terrified of becoming a minority was because you are worried that you will be treated like you have treated others your entire existence.

    Will be interesting.

So which religious group was she a part of?

But since they’re just radicals. Here are pastors and leaders of BLM in NC getting their feet washed by white officers while they prostrated themselves and asked for forgiveness.

But humor me for a moment. Let’s assume that this became a mainstream ideology of white subservience to blacks. Would you still vote democrat?

Foot washing is a traditional part of Christianity. Jesus did it. Read your Bible. It still happens in Christian religious circles. It isn't about race. It is just people who happened to read the Bible.

    See above.

I'm voting third party and I have no interest in entertaining your racial fetishistic fantasy. Why humor a racist fantasy?

No because unlike them I will never be enslaved. Winston Churchill said it best:

If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves.

If it were a fantasy we wouldn’t have video of it occurring by people screaming they’re going to enslave white people while we have leaders of the BLM engaging in the same type of rhetoric making their bed with the democrat party.

You haven't posted anything from "BLM engaging in the same typoe of rhetoric." And I've already addressed your unrelated anecdote.

Like I said, this will be interesting

So that’s not what you were inferring from the confederate flag reference beforehand?

It's kind of what the Confederates inferred from the Confederate flag reference beforehand.

No what’s going to be interesting is when the white people on your side have served their purpose and you’re shocked that you’re going to be treated the exact same way as us because you have the same color skin.

Oh! Oh! Is this the same time when Bigfoot admits to faking the lunar landing?

As interesting as your fantasy is, it is irrelevant to reality.

No, I asked you to back up your arguments. If you make an argument, you back up your argument; the other person is not supposed to do your research for you to than argue against it. The onus is on you.

You still have not cited any sources, nor have you explained how the General Theory of Second Best justifies affirmative action as practiced. If an upper-middle-class black person, with all the advantages that come from wealth, applies for the same seat at an institution as a working-class white or Asian-American, how does the General Theory of Second Best justify the black person, with all their economic advantages, taking the seat over the white or the Asian-American. Furthermore, your interpretation of the General Theory of Second Best is an argument against affirmative action against whites and Asians, not for it, as a white person applying for college may have already been discriminated from other opportunities that would have advanced his curriculum vitae. Basing the framework of affirmative action on the framework of the General Theory of Second Best is simplicity against the complexities of reality.

Furthermore, your interpretation of the General Theory of Second Best does justify how you cannot discriminate if discrimination already exists.

Chortle, chortle! I already have. I've given you an accepted definition ;)

I don't need to. We know, without any doubt, that positive discrimination is a valid strategy as the 'first best' (zero discrimination) is unachievable. Now you could ask for specific sources into effects. For example, positive discrimination is illegal in the UK. There is analysis that looks at the consequences compared to other areas where that isn't the case. But that isn't important to what I've said. I've merely laughed at cretinous comment over AA that ignores logical reasoning.

You do have a habit of ramble! If you wanted to attack AA you would have to go into possible negative spillover effects. You can't, however, say that AA is necessarily wrong. Indeed, its always going to be a logical policy possibility to discriminatory practices.

The fact that we already have government sponsored, institutional, systemic racism against whites begs to differ.
