One of us is hopelessly lost.

I asked you a question about your post because your meaning was ambiguous.

You gave me a directive to support an argument I don't fully support in a poorly phrased post.

Now you're claiming you didn't ask me to do that?

    What is going on here?

Democrats can solve this one. Just stop testing. Easy.

I can't believe these are normal high schools though. They must be the schools where expelled students go or something. How could there not be one out thousands who could score proficient. If that's true it's pathetic.

Has it occurred to you that some parents are simply not equipped to properly asses and guide their children's education?

Who is equipped to do that? The school system? The standard that society sets for the system to follow? Does the kid get a say? Should they?

I'm sorry, why wouldn't the schools be blamed?

Also, what constitutes as blaming society, does collectively blaming all the parents/kids and communities the same as blaming society?

Well at least in Baltimore, these kids are perfectly normal. No nerds there.

Is or is supposed to be?
Yes, by hiring true professionals to develop them instead of ******* governors.
    No and no.

In an attempt to avoid the weeds of minutia, I will explain myself more clearly. I made the claim that a universal education model is part of the problem. Fundamental to that claim is the idea that one type of assessment is not appropriate for every type of student. While government institutions purport to have the ability to properly assess and guide children, practice proves the reality of that claim.

I'm sure there are plenty of true professionals in Baltimore that would take offense to this claim, and quite expertly put to rest any notion that you have the expertise to question their credentials.

Who is the education for? You?

    I wanted a clarification about a question.
And it seems you're unwilling to give me that.

Thank you, that is a good thing.
I believe that you are wrong about that.
It is not possible to tailor curriculum for every type of student, but it certainly possible to tailor it to suit the vast majority.
It is not a failure of institutions or the principles, but that of individuals to fail to implement them.
Are you? Are you sure that I care that they are offended ion light of the abysmal failure?
I am not questioning their credentials. There are scores of incompetent people in every human endeavor that have credentials.
Why be obtuse? On what basis can a student have a say?

I guess you do not want to explain the suggestions made in the OP. Fair enough.

I should say what we all know and are thinking. It's Baltimore public schools, mostly black students who do not do as well overall. This is why many other schools want to dumb down tests so black students can score higher. We can continue to throw money at the black schools, it still doesn't help. I wonder why that is?

Since when do we end verbs with capital a letter?
    But easier than you...

Is that where you learned to end a verb with a capital letter?

It's factual. The more we keep dancing around facts, the more nothing is done about it. Should we pretend otherwise because it makes you feel better about yourself?

The "S" was used as a noun, not a verb.
