No way. If it's on the internet, it is true. I never considered taking the pot before, but now I think I will go to CO so I can take some pot. Also, I will marry a man soon to comply with the new law in Washington where I live.

I bought mine on Sunday to avoid the rush. One place I saw today had people lined around the block.

I'm sure many of our posters are testing that theory even as we speak!

Local businesses are going to benefit from this as well. A lot of people are going to come from other states just so they can say they bought pot legally. Hell a lot of people have already texted me from my hometown wanting to make the 1000 mile drive just to see what is going on here. Like it or hate it is history making that's for sure.

    :roflol:Nothing New.

For sure even if they didn't legalize it...the results would be the same.

Just as it's a choice between free immigration and welfare, it's a choice between drug legalization and government healthcare. Personally I pick free immigration and drug legalization.

Get on the side of small government and limited, constitutional Federal authority!

I would rather see industrial hemp legalized. I do not use marijuana, but I do recognize the benefits of industrial hemp. It's stupid to make a plant illegal when it can do so much.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hemp

Why we ban a plant that is so useful is beyond me.

    No, not likely.

What is coming out of Washington State is a bit of conflict between state and federal authorities. Yes, you can buy it legally. No you cannot have in your possession on federal property or regulated areas, including ferries, their terminals and parking lots, airports and their parking lots and transporting across state lines draws serious federal time.

If you are going into the United States and are asked if you intend to buy pot and say "yes" you will be denied entry and likely put on a watch list. If you say "no" and do, they can get you for lying to a federal agent, obstruction of justice.

A businessman here had the same idea, he could draw an out of state market.
It was the world's shortest lived business plan.

So don't go buy some pot on Washington and expect to fly home to California, or take a ferry ride stoned, Eric Holder wants YOU!
