Rush Limbaugh in 2006 pretty much admitted to doctor shopping for his pill addiction, and by confessing even to that, was banned from owning firearms. And Rush Limbaugh was a big opponent of any type of gun control, including if one was caught or admitted to using drugs illegally like he did. The Gun Control issue replaced the drug addict issue on his TV show in 2006. But he did own firearms, according to his estate that is.
