The lead researchers in this study were highly credentialed. Prove their PhD's were fake. http://www.rcrc.org/issues/MedRt_Reardon.cfm
I'm sorry but anyone who says that two very respected institutions containing literally hundreds of professional qualified people are biased is just burying their head in the sand. PAS is not, nor has it ever been, recognized by any respectable institute as a mental condition caused by abortion. "The American Psychological Association (APA) convened a panel of psychologists with extensive experience in this field to review the data. They reported that the studies with the most scientifically rigorous research designs consistently found no trace of "post-abortion syndrome" and furthermore, that no such syndrome is scientifically or medically recognized." "The royal college of obstetricians and gynaecologists - Studies also demonstrate that the predominant feeling following abortion is one of relief and diminution of stress. The incidence of severe negative reaction is low, although some factors are known to increase risk (abortion where pregnancy had been planned and late gestation abortion). Where problems do arise there is often a history of susceptibility which predates the abortion procedure."
90% feel they made the right choice, 10% felt they made the wrong choice imagine if the government choose for them and they felt it was the wrong choice this is what anti-choicers really want, they want a nanny government to make the choice for them .
It means that where some women who had abortions do suffer mental problems those mental problems existed before the abortion.
This sounds interesting. I will try to find you a good article on this webpage that will present evidence from the other side of the formula. http://canadasilentnomore.com/the-team/2015/01/25/denise-mountenay/
The only "evidence" from the other side is on Anti-Choice sites including ones that do NOT take into consideration the women's mental health BEFORE the abortion OR the mental health of women who gave birth. . AND, it does not matter one bit how women feel after an abortion, they are not property to be protected , they are human beings with rights and that right includes abortion no matter how OTHER women feel. I know a man who was depressed after heart surgery. Do you want heart surgery banned?
This IS great news. Now we can tell pedophiles, murderers, rapists, etc. that as long as they are committing acts against their fellow man, it is okay. You won't have to judge them, counsel them, etc. All that is left is to legalize that which some people find distasteful. Yeah, there is a hint of sarcasm in my post.
Ah let us see how this pro-life post stacks up to the standard response --- Hyperbole - check slippery slope - check irrelevance - check A full house .. well done!!!
You obviously need to purchase a dictionary. Hyperbole - NOT. All one needs is a reading of the 14th Amendment Slippery Slope - Hey, it's YOUR precedent, not mine Irrelevance - Equal protection of the laws is very much relevant. You fail.
LOL, I need no dictionary, I am well aware of what those words mean, hence why they have been used in relation to your comment. Hyperbole - exaggerated statements or claims not meant to be taken literally ie "Now we can tell pedophiles[sic], murderers, rapists, etc. that as long as they are committing acts against their fellow man, it is okay. You won't have to judge them, counsel them, etc" Slippery Slope - a course of action likely to lead to something bad or disastrous. ie the assumption that the action will lead to telling paedophiles, murderers etc "that as long as they are committing acts against their fellow man, it is okay." irrelevance - not connected with or relevant to something. ie. your whole comment.
