No, my friend, there is a lot of humor. I think the OP is an incognito Republican, as they put a thread about adoring Jill Biden in the Humor & Satire subforum, because to adore the woman who only got her doctorate so she could be called "Doctor Biden" is a joke in itself.

The OP started the thread by dissing Michelle Obama as a means of promoting the nude model. With the current first lady it's pretty much a dead thread and should lose favored status.

Any criticisms of Jill Biden are pretty despairing and lacking oomph.

It’s so people can beat up on their FLOTUS of choice without consequence.

“Yes, I called her a bleepity bleep bleep who will bleep anyone to keep bleeping the bleep….., but I did it to be funny, so it’s all good!!”

He comes the Democrats out of the woodwork to defend their patron saint, Doctor Jill Biden, the most doctorest of all doctors. Or as I call her, Jill, or Mrs. Biden.

    Pathetically hilarious.

Yes, we know you are being pathetically hilarious, or hilariously pathetic?

In all probability, she did not really earn that doctorate. Given the context in which she got it--going to the school that has an entity named after her husband, who was a US Senator of the state in which that school resides for decades--it very much has the appearance of corruption. These people cannot even get degrees without the veneer of corruption surrounding it. And you people defend it the day long. It's funny, and pathetic.

Remind me how the previous First Lady got her doctorate.
Was it a dissertation on chain migration or was it on the trophy wives of playboys so repulsive they have to pay for sex?

Show you proof that her husband was a US Senator of Delaware for decades?
Show you proof that she went to the University of Delaware to get her doctorate?
Show you proof that the University of Delaware has an entity named after it, called the Joseph R. Biden, Jr. School of Public Policy & Administration.
Show you proof that her dissertation contained head-scratching errors like this:

"Three quarters of the class will be Caucasian; one quarter of the class will be African American...the remaining seats will be filled with students of Asian descent or non-resident aliens."

And that if she weren't the wife of a husband who was a Democrat US Senator from Delaware she probably would not have gotten her doctorate?
Show you proof that she only got her doctorate, so she could be called "doctor"?

“She said, ‘I was so sick of the mail coming to Sen. and Mrs. Biden. I wanted to get mail addressed to Dr. and Sen. Biden.’ That’s the real reason she got her doctorate,” he said.

Honestly, put your partisanship aside. And try to be impartial. If she were just any random person, do you think she would have deserved that doctorate? And considering the circumstances in which she got it, does it not have the appearance of corruption?

I would be so ashamed if my wife was a US Senator from Delaware for decades, and I went to the same school in which an entity was named after her, and I got my doctorate. I would be ashamed of my degree. But she's completely shameless. How does not just ooze of cringe and vanity for you?

Opinions? What part of the following is opinion?

    • Her husband was a US Senator of Delaware for decades.
    • She went to the University of Delaware to get her doctorate.
    • The University of Delaware has an entity named after it, called the Joseph R. Biden, Jr. School of Public Policy & Administration.
    • Her dissertation contained head-scratching errors like this:

"Three quarters of the class will be Caucasian; one quarter of the class will be African American...the remaining seats will be filled with students of Asian descent or non-resident aliens."

“She said, ‘I was so sick of the mail coming to Sen. and Mrs. Biden. I wanted to get mail addressed to Dr. and Sen. Biden.’ That’s the real reason she got her doctorate,” he said.

The first four points…. so what?
The italicised quote was from Joe Biden and I’m pretty sure was meant as a joke.
    None of them are proof.
Does anyone at the university say she didn’t earn her doctorate?

I think, as with all benefits that come to being intimate with someone important, extremely difficult things become less so. It’s called privilege, and the left uses the term constantly.

It is extremely safe to assume that anyone who has the interest of someone powerful, can get something easier than I can. Probably you do, too.

That's not proof. It might be considered evidence were she to screw up in her field. She hasn't that I'm aware of. If you know different, please cite the occasion.

Nah,it's true. Rich and famous get privileged treatment to the point that they believe that they deserve it.

But, should a university risk its reputation by awarding a degree to someone who doesn’t deserve it?
It will be assumed that because the recipient has connections that the degree wasn’t earned by hard work and merit. This can’t be true or no one would go anywhere except Yale or Harvard, because everywhere else has useless degrees which wouldn’t be accorded any value.

I didn't say that. She may or may not have, I don't really much care and I would address her as Dr. Biden if we met. But the rich do often believe that being rich overrules all other considerations. For example, too often the hyper rich believe it's their right to be a hyper predator and they should cut pay and benefits to increase their own incomes or worse are the money handlers that actually run nothing, create nothing and complain if they pay any taxes.
