Alabama doctor says he won’t treat unvaccinated people: ‘COVID is miserable way to die’

Dr. Jason Valentine, a physician at Mobile’s Diagnostic and Medical Clinic Infirmary Health, posted a photo on his Facebook page showing him posed next to a sign that says “effective Oct. 1, 2021, Dr. Valentine will no longer see patients that are not vaccinated against COVID-19.”

"If you wish to keep me as your physician, documentation of your vaccination will suffice. If you wish to choose another physician, we will be happy to transfer your records.”

Since posting the sign, Valentine wrote that three unvaccinated patients asked where they could get a vaccine.

I can't prove this, but I had this thought back in July, when I took my kid in for his annual sports physical.... I didn't need to prove he was vaccinated (he is), but the thought ran through my head - What if this practice wouldn't see him if he wasn't?

With a 10/1 deadline (why not 9/1 to at least get the first shot??), he's certainly giving enough notice to find another doctor.

Anybody on board with this guy, or should the Alabama governor issue a "No Doctor Freedom" mandate, saying doctors have no choice on who they choose to treat??

 

I do not agree with the doctor's actions, he needs to treat his patients that are sick

to me this is as bad as the cop that said he would punch anyone that asked him to wear a mask, well maybe not that bad, but still

but like with the cops, saying it and doing it are two different things

police officers were offered the vaccine in January... he refused, said he had an immune system

Many professional people do this. They are just more subtle about it. When I was a cop, I knew paramedics that willfully "slow walked" minority patients to the ER so they could die before arriving. This guy was just stupid enough to say it aloud.

 

Fair enough... I'm on the fence on this one, but I can certainly understand his position. If you won't do essentially the bare minimum to take care of yourself, why should he??... It's not like he's refusing to treat certain diseases that are made worse by personal actions (diabetes, smoking).

He's in Mobile, a medium sized city... I'm assuming there are enough doctors in the area, and I imagine he might add to whatever numbers he loses.... We'll see if this concept grows or ends here....

People work at jobs to get money because we like food and shelter. Why would someone knowingly tick off potential future "customers"? Yes, it's stupid if he wants to stay in business.

Well, that's his risk, but I would bet something of minimal value that he'll actually add patients with this plan... Many people (me included) would read this as being somebody who cares more, not less....

There's a big deal between a doctor oath and some dumbass lying when taking the Presidential Oath..

 

His intention is to get more people motivated to take the shot, which is good. It is not violating his oath because he is making it so that people can arrange to get their care with somebody else.

I hope someone is keeping a list of names... when people like him ironically die of covid or other deadly consequence of the toxic vaccine.

Btw... decades ago when doctors went on strike in both the UK and Palestine... fewer people died during those strikes.

Wonder what other degenerates the good Dr Mengele, er, VALINTINE, deems unworthy of his self-righteous time....he's free to refuse patients AND patients are free to refuse him. Plus the crap "vaccine" is looking to be a six month deal, MAYBE even less (if THE TRUTH were unlikely told).......too soon, too fast, too bad.

 

I'm on board with his position and his decision. It doesn't look like Governor Ivey is going to be jumping on the short bus anytime soon....

They don’t recognize vaccinated as another class. They’re not trying to force your hand. They’re not stopping business with you. They just want to make a living and keep their kids healthy like you and I. You’re the one justifying a doctor stopping essential services. Do you know how critical a doctor can be? Commies!

After reading about the hospital capacity situation in Louisiana, I casually mentioned that they should ask those who are being admitted for covid if they were vaccinated. If they aren't, they should be sent home. There are no ambulances because they're being used to house patience in the ambulance bay. People who have heart attacks and strokes and other medical issues requiring hospitalization are at risk of dying instead of being treated!

I realize this would never happen, but I would be livid if a loved one died from something that could have been treated in hospital but couldn't get a bed!
