So you want the CHOICE to carry a firearm. I can support that. YOUR CHOICE. Of course, your choice may end up with the death of another human being. Kind of like having sex without the intent of getting pregnant. You HOPE you never have to use the gun, but sometimes crap happens.

 

So if you demand that others respect you when shooting at a rapist, potentially killing them.
Than you shouldn't have a problem killing what the rapist left behind in a woman.

As I recall, the legalization of abortion was supposed to prevent a handful of women of questionable character from dying from back alley abortions. The result has been millions of all types of women having abortions. Ironically, legalizing abortion seems to have led to more promiscuity and more children born out of wedlock. Which brings me to my dilemma. Life is sacred, but do we really need more fatherless savages running around? That said, what I am certain of is that women who have been raped or whose life is endangered by pregnancy should be able to abort at nearly any point along the way.

So, given that less than 50% of rapes are reported, you are going to demand that every raped woman, regardless of her wishes not to be FORCED to go through the denigration of invasive pelvic exams and court trials, must do so in order to get an abortion? So no matter how traumatic the rape was to
a woman, you want to FORCE her, against her will, a second time in order for her not to be FORCED to carry her rapist's baby to term. Congratulations, you now want the same power as the rapist.

We all wish life were perfect and uncomplicated - but it isn't. Abortion is a difficult subject. If every woman had perfect reproductive health, if there was never a rape, if every fetus was healthy, if every woman was financially secure, if every woman had perfect mental heath and if contraception never failed - then abortion wouldn't be a difficult subject. But that's not real life.

 

Terrible tactical decision then.

This law is so facially unconstitutional that it doesn't come close to implicating Roe v. Wade, and won't. They'd be much smarter to pick at the edges of Roe.
