When that kid blew his brains out and his parents tried to blame it on a Judas Priest record, I'll bet you fell right in line.

Ignorant right-wingers who like to cling to their guns and bibles.
They have second amendment solutions for all their problems.

Looks like Alex Jones and Bill Maher have some things in common. Alex Jones is always going down the laundry list of GOP race-baiting tactics (i.e. - Mexicans, Arabs and Blacks) he parrots the same old lines on Prison Planet about the WTC Mosque, the Kenyan in the WH, and immigration fears.

Maher tells Rep. Ellison the Quran is a ‘hate-filled holy book’ that inspires terrorism

Stopped from being ignored by the mass media? ABSOLUTELY! but I don't see that happening for as long as special interests control our left right media circus.

AJ has the right to broadcast as much as rush and beck. AJ just brings reality to light that regular propaganda based broadcast news fails to show. AJ alos allows the viewer to think, but some lack the cognitive development and capacity to do that.

From my liberal evaluation of the events:
There is no lesson of the gifford deal. The shooter/killer was just a regular dude raised by parents with a lot of ignorace and hate. Hence the violent behavior, and lack of intelligent rational. We can expect more of these incidents to happen because of the massive amout of ignorant people in the USA who have religion and their own simple interpretations of the Constitution. Plus, there are a lot of old time racist who raise their kids up to hate and kill. Just a matter of dumbing them down with religion, and giving them a reason to act. You know that shooters parents are prowd to be bible fearing, gun toting radicals who live in a isolated world of supremacy.

Absolutely. This (*)(*)(*)(*)ed free speech nonsense has to end. We all know that Loughner was sent out to kill by Sarah Palin. It must be true because the media said it was. Now, a mob shipped up by the liberal shill Al Sharpton march out of the meeting and killed a young Jewish man but that's okay. First, he was Jewish. Second, he was nobody. Therefore, it didn't matter and we should all watch Al "the nitwit" Sharpton on MSNCB. Oh, and congressmen who say the Tea Party members want to see black people hanging in trees. Does he believe that? No, but it's good rhetoric. How about Howard Dean saying he hates all Republicans and everything they stand for. Consider Randi Rhodes, Rachel Maddow, Ed Schultz, Chris Matthews, Keith Olbermann, and on and on and on ad nauseum.

I'm with you, Mediamatters. To honor Rep. Gifford we must do away with free speech for conservatives.

The extent to which the brainwashed will defend obvious news fakers like Beck, Rush and Alex Jones amazes me. :blahblah:

If you had watched the video (on page 16, posting # 153) you'd see it yourself!

I like Alex, and he is fighting an information war. Do you believe someone who cites facts, cites history, has multiple interviews set up with people all around the world (usually ones who will not get any corporate media coverage), and runs a NON-PROFIT business. Or Corporate Media who is FOR profit and has an interest in telling people of various political beliefs what they want to hear, obviously misinforms people on world events due to the discrepancies between the West and East coverage, gets 90% of their political information from the White House Press Secretary and the other 10% from their "political contributors," and prop up either republicans or democrats and blame each other for all the problems?

You think Fox News is Fair and Balanced? You think MSNBC or CNN arent democratically invested? You dont think Rupert Merdoch and Ted Turner are good buddies?

Unfortunately I think people who want to stop Alex Jones are the same people who wont vote for Ron Paul, because what they say scares them.

Well most right wingers won't vote for Ron Paul because he refuses to run based on their propaganda and rhetoric that Obama is a socialist muslim sent by Osama Bin Ladin to kill Jesus.

Nope, thats why people need to realize the difference between conservatism and neo-conservatism. Ron paul is a conservative, most of all the rest of the republicans are neo-conservatives. People are starting to figure this out, but to most neo-conservatism still sounds like a "conspiracy theory" term and just shrug it off.

Its sad that instead of saying,"Wow, neo-conservatism, ive never heard of that, ill take 5 minutes out of my day to go look that up." they say,"HAHA that sounds like a conspiracy theory I heard on TV once!"

The points is, much like Alex Jones, Ron Paul says things that are not convenient and not well taken by people who's belief systems do not like to be challenged. Most of the younger crowd like them because they have not spent so much time under the neo-con regime. I think most of the domocrats are neo-cons as well, just in a different package.

Neo-Cons believe in foreign interventionism as well as a strong/large domestic government because normal people cant make decisions or be reliant on themselves. Basically the democratic and republicans parties lol.

Ron Paul does not think 9/11 was an inside job ... like Alex Jones does.

why do 9/11 Truthers cling to this guy ...?

Ron Paul , did he say was for re-opening a new 9-11 investigation?

    from:
    http://911review.com/articles/bov/RonPaul_08.html

    __________________________________________________ _____________________________

But it was Glenn Beck, in December of 2007, another right-wing Libertarian bent on exposing or destroying the "dangerous" and "violent" 9/11 Truth Movement, finally exposed the bottom line for the truth of 9/11 for Ron Paul, leaving his supporters doing somersaults to try to clean up the mess:
    __________________________________________________ _______________________________
BECK: . . . But may I just run through these 9/11 conspiracies? No plane hit the Pentagon on September 11th. Instead, it was a missile fired by elements from inside the American state apparatus. Yes or no?
    PAUL: It`s preposterous.
BECK: OK. The planes that hit the World Trade Center towers were remotely controlled?
PAUL: I mean, this is just bizarre.
    BECK: OK.
PAUL: I`ve not even heard of these challenges before.
BECK: Is there -- is there any evidence or is there any doubt in your mind that the United States government was not involved in the September 11th attacks? That we did not bring down World Trade Center number seven?
PAUL: Well, yes, I absolutely believe that is true. They did not. But the connection may be, and where some people get carried away, is if you dig through those $40 billion worth of intelligence-gathering apparatus that we had before 9/11, you know, we dig up information and there was some ineptness. And sometimes when you find ineptness in government, it`s easy to make this giant leap over into conspiracy, and they do it on purpose. But, you know, we had an FBI agent on 70 different occasions reported that these individuals were flying airplanes and not learning how to land them. And he was totally ignored.
    BECK: Right.
PAUL: I consider this ineptness on government, not a conspiracy that, oh, yes, we know about it, we can`t wait until the towers come down. No, I don`t believe that at all. I think -- I don`t even think I should have to answer questions like that.

Obama would love to confiscate guns. Fortunately the best he can do is put restrictions on buying guns.

Blaming alex jones, or glenn beck is just shooting the messenger. :gun::bored:

Alex Jones is a nutcase. That said, he has the right to publish/broadcast the crap he publishes/broadcasts.

He way predates Glenn Beck. Glenn Beck started in the political radio business in 2000 (before that he was just a morning DJ with typical morning show crap). Alex Jones has been in the conspiracy business since the early 1990s.

Regarding Glenn Beck and crap ?

If anything, it is the opponents of Glenn Beck who are full of crap. And, they prove it every day.

However, a discussion of this is a waste of time.

T'would be like throwing eggs at a concrete wall.

And that IS a huge problem.

I am not sure what happened first.

Did the television corps realise that the masses were so dumb, that this was the sort of television they would consume, albeit it is garbage?

Or were the masses once smarter, more free thinking, and less dumbed down, then grew more so due to the outpouring of lies and junk?

As I read the posts, sometimes the OBVIOUS REALITY eludes the Political Idiots......these Political Idiots think the OTHERS are the Political Idiots.

And, of course, the final answer as to who is the Political Idiot always rests in the hands of the rational posters.

Do you consider yourself a 'rational poster'?

If so, what, for example, qualifies you as one?

    Just curious.

Let me put it this way: Some posters are Political Idiots.

The overwhelming majority of Political Idiots will remain as Political Idiots no matter how much effort is expended on showing them what the obvious REALITY is.

A rational poster must decide which of these Political Idiots are hopeless ...... and ignore their questions because these Political idiots are hopeless.

The ONLY reason one gets involved with these Political Idiots is to provide ammunition to the other rational posters who wish to challenge these Political Idiots.

Alex Jones is a valuable source of conspiracy information. If anything, at least he likes to shake up the status quo, and exposes the Bilderbergs, and demonstrates how little freedom the US citizen actually has now., since virtually every square inch of land is "private" property, and you are trespassing wherever you go now., even on the sidewalk, if the "security" tells you so.
