It doesnt explain how they are going to prove they watered down their beer. I never liked bud I always thought it tasted like water to be honest but I like heavier beers.

Let the consumer decide. If they can water it down and it still tastes the same, there's no problem.

Does this mean we can finally start suing food chains that advertise burgers that never look like the crap you get?

In this case, how they will ever prove it is beyond me, but they are advertising a certain amount of alcohol in each bottle and if they are not giving the consumer that then they need to be called on it, but how? Is there some kind of tester, a strip of paper that turns a different color for every percentage of alcohol? Nope the only thing they have here is if the consumer doesn't feel like it tastes right or isn't giving them the sufficient buzzzzz, they are free to go elsewhere. Do you really think that fountain drinks are not watered down for profit? Really people come on? No pun intended RP. lol

Michelob was the only one I cared for years ago, I rarely drink now. However when I do have a Beer I enjoy the darker ones, whole different Beer. Taste like Beer is supposed to taste, full flavorful. I think American Beer is like going to Taco Bell,,it's alright but it's not Mexican food....

In an average year, AB (InBev) produces about 5 billion gallons of beer...

    5,000,000,000 gal.

I'd like to see a specialty brew match that and still maintain the same quality...
For what it is, a mass produced beer, the quality isn't bad.

Oh brother, doesn't get much worse than beer snobs...

Bash Bud all you want...I've owned shares of St. Louis based AB since my teens, and kept adding to it...finally sold it after InBev bought the brewery giant a few years ...after many stock splits, my initial investment was worth 15 times what I paid for it, when I sold it. Enough to finance a condominium...with no mortgage.

You can have all your fancy "pumkin spice" dark pale ale...over-priced stuff...I'll just laugh all the way to the bank...Bud appeals to "regular" folks and fills a market niche..and did well enough over the years to fill my pockets as a stockholder. There's no money to be made in beer snobbery or investments in specialty brewers; at least not on the scale of Anheuser Busch at it's peak.

    and on that note...

ha ha so laugh it up fuzzballs, sipping your "manly" "dark" beers, palates too refined for a Bud Light I suppose.

Enjoy your rent payments and mortgage notes...for those beer snobs who have actually moved out of their parents basements that is...the roof over my head is courtesy of the King of Beers...brewed right here in St. Louis, MO...Budweiser.

Money isn't everything, and there are many other pleasures in life worth enjoying. Fine food, fine drink, and the loving touch of a fine woman top the charts in some folks world.

Not necessarily, but I don't consider overpriced drinks/meals fine, or prostitutes loving.

    Never said "money was everything."
My point was , that I've been hearing how "terrible" Anheuser Busch products are for decades, yet the stock has continually provided dividends and a rise in value for the stockholders....leading one to assume that someone out there, is indeed consuming the product.

AB products fill a market niche and do quite well in the market. They provide quality mass produced, mass appeal beer(s).

No they aren't a craft beer on par with higher quality micro-brews...but they also aren't priced the same or directed to the "professional" beer drinker aka "beer snob."

Whether it's Millers or Budweiser, about 70 - 80% of the market goes to the purchase and consumption of the mass produced, mass appeal...beer(s). If they were so bad, so terrible, so God awful...you wouldn't see this sort of market control. Millers and Bud, give the consumer what they want, and that's just good business. Say what you will about the beer(s) themselves, Anheuser Busch was a good company. It provided thousands of well paying Union and white collar jobs to my area and provided products many consumers chose to purchase and consume...time and time again.

I don't know about the merits of this particular lawsuit in question from the OP, but I've no doubt Anheuser Busch reputation as a good business providing a good product will not be tainted.
