It's even more ironic when you consider that one of the right wingers here repeated that meme on this thread.

It's also (probably unintentionally) ironic that this story is being shopped all over the right trash blogs, which crib and bray like sheep to their audience. Media Research Center is a right wing hit piece shop, not a watchdog or a research organization. Actually, Media Research Center and CNS are one in the same, right down to their office space!

I saw this on C Span. I wouldn't trust MRC with it.

I didn't bother to read the article myself. Media Research CEnter is a right wing public relations shop. It produces hit pieces and manufactures content for right wing trash blogs (of which this is an example).

I don't know where you get this silly idea that the press is entralled with Obama. Compton's comments pretty much refute that entirely.

Obama is NOT popular with the White House press corps at all, and never has been. They loved Bush because he came off as an approachable regular guy. Obama is a cold fish.

When you live in a media bubble like so many conservatives increasingly do, one can see how the manufactured claims of poltical activists like MRC get substituted for facts.

And, if MSNBC put this on the screen, it wouldn't be ironic at all.

The irony is when someone shops a fake meme like "the press loves Obama" all over the place, and them posts something that flatly refutes it.

 

Went back through this.........nowhere do I find anyone stating the press loves Obama..............

What you will find is that they cover for him.

They have no spine.............one bad story and they are no longer the White House correspondent.........

They have career motive to not tell the bad side of stories..................that is not journalism.

I know he admitted using cocaine but I don't know if he's an addict . He IS an alcoholic. But it would've been nice if those were his ONLY failings as a human being.....they aren't...they're probably the best things about him.....everything else is worse...

If a guy says that he drank too much earlier in life and got a DUI is that person automatically an alcoholic?

 

He stated that he is an alcoholic....now Bush was a great liar so maybe we shouldn't believe even that since it came out of his mouth....


As to accusations? Your side has NO compunction when it comes to accusations, usually false(Obama isn't a Muslim)....so don't get all preachy...

 

Obama is a parrot. All his adult life he has been drilled on the Socialist party line. Then when he repeats one of those lines back, his handlers tell him how smart he is. He needs handlers because of his limited IQ. His handlers understand that their ideas would not be popular with Americans that have grown accustomed to making decisions for themselves. So, they know that they have to keep their activities hush-hush. Obama, with his limited mentality, can not fathom that everyone does not believe what he has been indoctrinated in. So, every once in a while he goes off script, and gives an insight into what he really has been brainwashed to believe. When he is called on it, he calls for a off-the-record meeting, and cusses them out. Obama is nothing more then a cross between Forrest Gump and the Manchurian Candidate

 

You nailed it....it always amazes me how easily the media convinced the gullible public that obama was some kind of genius....like his i.q. was off the charts. In truth for a black he has above average intelligence for that group especially whose average i.q. is around 85...those who understand how to measure i.q. give him a score of 106...not bad ...a little above average.

Yet it is not his i.q. that is the real problem....look at Jimmy Carter...the highest i.q. of any President in modern times...and what a disaster he was. So...to try and use i.q. as a forecaster of how competent a President may be is a fallacy to begin with....I only bring it up because the media made a big deal out of it and promoted the lie that obama was a genius with an extremely high i.q.

What is important is vision, beliefs and leadership ability...obama fails on all counts...and remember how g. bush was crucified for being a moron? now along comes a fellow with a i.q. much lower than bush's and the media transformed him into something he never was but too many voters fell for it....basically because they did not understand affirmative action and the politics associated with it...which can enable someone with no academic credentials and basically not qualified for such a institution(harvard).... to get into the prestigious university and occupy seemingly important positions but when placed under scrutiny it becomes apparant it was all a sham...just the creation of a cover story made possible by political correctness allowing an inept individual ascend to the highest office in the land because the powers that be were determined to have a African in that post....they almost wet their pants aka chris matthews over the realization of their dream.

 

The thing most people do not understand--- that Bush was a pc republican....who is now a buddy of bill clinton....what is that they say about being able to judge a person by the friends they keep?
