A lot, actually. I'll assume for now this was caused by the vaccine - am low on time. This is one case. In medical interventions, one must assess risk vs harm. Statistically, is this type of patient more likely to die due to having the vaccine, or due to not having the vaccine. One bad outcome does not answer this question, but from looking into this before, even the young are more likely to be helped than harmed. This was before omicron though that I last ran numbers.

There are thousands of cases that go unreported or are logged as "unknown circumstances" or whatever. Because of the lack of reporting it is perceived as a "rare" event.

When there is a survivability rate that on average is 98% from covid, any child under 18 does not require it, or anyone for that matter.

Actually, for a teen it was more like 1 in 10,000 die when they get covid. But the death rate from the vaccine was more on the order of 1 in a million. If those numbers are correct, it would mean that you'd save up to 100 lives per million teens vaccinated, while killing 1.

2% death rate is closer to pre-omicron average for all ages, higher than 2% for the very old, far lower for the very young. For highly infectious diseases, a 2% death rate is actually pretty high, able to kill millions.

I really don't think there's a lack of reporting on this. Mysterious deaths in the young are a big deal.
