I have the same question. Do you think there are simulated sex acts going on at Drag Queen Story Hours?
Drag is a type of performance art. Whether it is sexually suggestive or not depends on what the performers do. You wouldn’t get angry at a parent for taking their kids to a wiggles concert, just because the majority of concerts are not appropriate for children, would you?
Keep trying to come up with something that you think sounds like it makes sense, because it's not working yet.
Wait, are you saying you can’t find any instances of that book being pulled from K-5 libraries? I’ll be happy to move on to your next question if you’re backing off the initial claim.
You need to give me something to work with. So far you've given me "but the pornography was just acquired by 10 year olds" and "strip shows in front of young children is "performance art"". What am I supposed to do other than laugh at that?
Mediocre lip sync followed by some admittedly inappropriate language. I don’t know what simulated sex acts you’re talking about.
I don't give a **** about that one book. The one book is not the point. The point is that these books are being put in children's libraries at all. Examining the minutia of what book is in what school is irrelevant. Why are they in ANY school?
It's almost like groomers start out small with just taking off a few articles of clothing. Why simulate stripping in front of CHILDREN AT ALL? To groom the kids. Do you think people don't know what is going on here? Keep justifying it. It tells everyone that reads this a lot.
What K-5 library was Gender Queer pulled from? It’s okay to admit that you were mistaken. I’ll be glad to move on from that point. What part of family friendly is confusing to you? Do parents have the right to raise their children as they see fit, or not? Stop running.
She pulled off a skirt to reveal… more clothing than the two of us are wearing combined. Where were the sex acts? Can you give me a minute mark?
The only person engaging in falsehood in this conversation, and attempting to justify the exploitation of children with trivial arguments, is you.
And if you could see them you'd deliver a different stupid response in support of sexualizing children. There are dozens of them out there. If you open your eyes, you'll see it.
Not true. You're the one claiming that the video clip includes simulated stripping in front of children. I didn't see any children. You're engaging in a falsehood.
No, I'm done engaging with people that clearly want to justify the sexualization of children. Anyone who does is pure filth, and I'm going to go take another shower. Just being virtually exposed to the depravity of people in this thread makes me nauseous.
Its only the beginning. Lot of things are going to get banned / criminalized under the "its for the children" banner. I live in South Florida and we have all kinds of weirdness walking around the beach areas including drags. Who are they going to punish for that? My guess is that locally elected civilian leaders will be removed and replaced with government appointed politicians like they have already done with Reedy Creek and many school boards. The shows are nothing new, because they have been around for ages, but the agenda against them is new so in that sense they are now political.
