If you don't choose within the time limit you are given the computer will pick the best available option according to rankings. But that does not mean it still wont be a bad pick because you already might have 2 runninbacks, a QB and need a WR but the computer might just pick another RB for you.
Thanks, Geddon. I understand that problem. But to be honest, I tried one practice draft and I was snowed. We'll see. I intend to have fun in this thing no matter what.
What do you mean you were snowed? If you need pointers just ask questions bud. It's not a money league and only for fun so I'll gladly give the best advice possible and I'm sure everyone else here will as well. Also there is chatting during the draft so questions or opinion can be given there as well.
Yep...little over an hour from now. I'm gonna be there...although I'm not sure I'm gonna know what is going on. I have a list of people I want to draft...so I hope I get lucky.
There's a live chat function so feel free to ask questions during- I'll answer any you have and I'm sure others will too. This is a big year for wide receivers- unlike the tight end position that only has one or two hopefuls. A little tip, no need to draft defense or kickers until the very end. It's more important to stack your bench first in case of injuries/bye weeks. That's just my advice doing this 10+ years. However, follow your heart and draft who you please. FOr some reason the commissioner of the league changed the draft settings to auto pick, which means the draft will be picking our players for us. I hope this is a mistake lol.
There's a problem with the league. Somehow we were accidentally set to "auto pick" for the entire draft. This needs to be disabled. - - - Updated - - - Maybe. But it's 1:55AM where I'm stationed right now and I stayed up for this draft! lol

I have formation in 4 hours. Oh well. Not the first time I've done PT half-drunk, half-hungover. I was at least hoping to draft a good fantasy team so it would be worth it!
I know what the problem is. We had an odd number of teams. The commissioner should have cut one team. I don't think Yahoo lets you draft with odd number teams.
I think I know what the problem is. We have an uneven amount of teams and that would mean a different team every week would have to be on bye, which would totally screw up the standings and scheduling. WE NEED ANOTHER PLAYER!!!!!!!!!! Perhaps 3 more players because the settings is for a 10-12 team league.
