Are religions that preach inequality for women and gays, traitors to their country?

Strange that you see the state granting all citizens equality before the law, as evil.

You show a lack of common sense.

I have no idea how you could possibly draw that conclusion from what I wrote. The BoR confers no authority for the secular guv to adjudicate religious matters 'under' the constitution. Sometimes courts allude to that but never come out and say it.

I never said 'equality', that is all in your imagination.

"your religion is not forced on everyone enmasse when the guv makes a law it is,"

says or implies absolutely NOTHING about equality, the take away point once again is guv pounding square pegs in round holes, where as your religion is custom designed for round pegs in round holes, and can rapidly change to meet changing conditions, the state cant and even when they can they wont if it means giving up some level of power. Get it now?

Hope that clears up your reading/interpretation error for you

Further more the laws of this country are not limited to citizens as you imply.

And now you feel atheists should get even by violating the the rights of believers BRAVO!:applause:
and the disturbing level of hatred and over the top hyperbole you display out here daily is representative of vile atheist ideological and dysfunctional thinking.
Yes the atheist movement diligently working to destroy the reserved rights of the people for their private agenda, is closer to treasonist.
Yes, in fact as an agnostic with no horse in this race I will fight for believers rights to 'exercise' their CHOSEN religion, including you with your chosen religion.
Yeh, while the majority of them carry degrees few of them are comprehensively very intelligent, unless we want to accept sugar coated bullshit as desert.
