A person has to be hardcore if he wants to be religious. As it says in 2 John 1:9-11 (ERV) = [SUP]"[/SUP][SUP]9 [/SUP]Everyone must continue to follow only the teaching about Christ. Whoever changes that teaching does not have God. But whoever continues to follow the teaching about Christ has both the Father and his Son. [SUP]10 [/SUP]Don’t accept those who come to you but do not bring this teaching. Don’t invite them into your house. Don’t welcome them in any way. [SUP]11 [/SUP]If you do, you are helping them with their evil work." Surah 3:73 from the Koran is almost identical: 3:73 And believe not save in one who followeth your religion - Say (O Muhammad): Lo! the guidance is Allah's Guidance - that anyone is given the like of that which was given unto you or that they may argue with you in the presence of their Lord. Say (O Muhammad): Lo! the bounty is in Allah's hand. He bestoweth it on whom He will. Allah is All-Embracing, All-Knowing."
True, as proven by both the Christians and the Muslims. Let the blood-letting in the name of God continue then as you desire.
The Bible and the Koran preach the same message. If you don't belong to the special group (Jews, Christians, or muslims) you will go to hell and be roasted.
Tracking a conversation is difficult for MaO'Bama voters. Obviously. - - - Updated - - - Sometimes there are glimpses of your intellect, this is one.
Says who? You? Only God knows what is in the hearts of people and only God judges them. - - - Updated - - - More insults and judging from you. You, sir, are dishonest and God shall judge you on your deceptions and lies.
Your "God" is not the only judge.....as you have beautifully shown in your post. You do it, I do it, everyone alive does it. As for some final judgement.....I suggest you pray deeply for mercy and hope he isn't in an OT mood that day.
We all judge, true, but not all of us judge in the name of God such as saying who or who is not going to Hell. That's the difference.
“The liar's punishment is, not in the least that he is not believed, but that he cannot believe anyone else.” ― George Bernard Shaw
Proverbs 19:9 A false witness will not go unpunished, and he who breathes out lies will perish. 1 John 2:4 Whoever says “I know him” but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him, Proverbs 6:16-19 There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers.
The Bible means nothing? Good Lord, man. What kind of Christian are you? Proverbs 12:22 Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who act faithfully are his delight. Psalm 101:7 No one who practices deceit shall dwell in my house; no one who utters lies shall continue before my eyes. James 3:14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast and be false to the truth.
It seems there is just random verses being posted with out a point but being used as a bludgeon with no effect. Appearently the poster is mad because he/she/it was unable to reconect with the conversation from post 341, and falsely believed that his/her/its inability is the fault of the responder. Then it became like a cat playing with its prey, and like a cat, the joy of such activities is short lived.
Muslims in General do not fear Allah. Allah is trying tell them something ( that they are wrong ) , BUT they do not listen... I believe that's the reason he kills them by the thousands each month.. If Muslims really believe in Allah, they should stop forcing Shariah on us, stop fighting all over the world & seek peace.
Then....there is no difference. I claim in the name of his noodly greatness that the guy who cut me off on 65 south, is going to hell as I judge him to be an a$$ and he clearly broke the 14th commandment..."though shalt not (*)(*)(*)(*) off tecoyah".
Disagreed. Since you don't believe in God, it may seem the same to you, but to people who do believe in a greater power, the difference between a personal opinion and the opinion of that greater power is very clear. The problem for believers are those who judge or condemn others in the name of that greater power. It's a false judgment and, IMO, blasphemous. Proverbs 6:16-19 There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers. Note the last one: Sows discord. That is exactly what those who put themselves in the position of God by judging them are doing. As a non-believer, I understand why you think it's foolish, but as a believer I can tell you it is a very important distinction.
How can any two people ever know if they are worshiping the same God? I mean, it's not like they can both point and see if they're pointing at the same Guy....
