"Socialist", "liberal" and many other words have no meaning anymore. Some people have no idea what those words even mean.

You don't think a President who accepts bribes is important?

There's zero evidence of Biden "accepting bribes". None. Just more RW bullshit and empty claims.

How many years of nonsense have the kooks had to uncover any evidence? Moreover, 46+ years of honorable and decent Joe Biden holding various public offices and fact-free attacks on his son is all they have? Well, that and sick ****ing claims that Joe is a pedo.

    There's no honor there. NONE.

So, we should get a start on saving the nation from Hunter Biden. What did he do?

And, after 50 years of bemoaning the race gap in education, the wokesters have come up with the solution: hold the white kids back.
    Bagman for the POTUS.

It's not just subpar schools. There's plenty of evidence poor kids are often disadvantaged because of bad nutrition, inadequate medical care, lack of a stimulating home environment, and on and on.

Kids from poor communities need extra resources. They often don't even get the same amount of money. Schools in the district where I grew up...

    https://www.pvpusd.net/

... have good enough schools even the rich folks living in Palos Verdes send their kids to public schools.

Then there is the money wasted in districts like Washington DC.

In my own school, we had a secretary that just did attendance. That's all she did all day. Twenty years before I wrote an attendance program for an Apple // computer that did all the attendance for the school I was teaching at in 20 minutes. Every teacher had a list of all students absent in the school by the middle of their first morning class. You could see who might be absent later in the day—or who should be there and isn't. We caught lots of kids skipping out.

There was no need to have a secretary working all day on attendance.
Schools in poor neighborhoods, often black neighborhoods, tend to be underfunded and subpar. I don't think there is a genetic basis for blacks underperforming, if that's what you're thinking about.
It's a problem with dozens of causes.

Next time I'm in NYC I think I'll try to look up the public school with almost all minorities where almost every kid graduates on time with most going on to college. The tv show about the school spent a lot of time interviewing the kids about their plans for after graduation. Someone got to those kids because they had realistic plans that included saying they weren't sure what they would take in college but that it would be something.

Even though I suspect universal school vouchers would see a lot of stupid parents (uneducated themselves!) send their kid to a school opened up by money grubbing con artists, I think over time we'd see private enterprise weed out the crooks, incompetents and ideologues. Parents would then be choosing between superior private schools.

You're an extreme rightwing ideologue. I only have so much time for that BS. Ditto for cancel culture morons on the left. You folks deserve each other.

An excellent way to lose the 2024 election is to focus on Hunter Biden (geez, if someone named me "Hunter," I might take to drugs, too) instead of real concerns impacting real folks. How about affordable, decent quality healthcare? How about decent quality K-12 schools? Affordable job training for those with outdated skills? A real solution to illegal immigration (stopping folks at the border is only a partial answer because over half of illegals are here after overstaying a visa). Dealing effectively with climate change. Ending the wildly expensive "war on drugs." Fixing our decaying infrastructure. Respecting women's rights to control their own bodies.

Have you ever pondered why Fox News and other rightwing media focus on Hunter Biden instead of real issues?

Or for that matter, why the leftwing media focus on virtue signalling like cancelling the Keystone pipeline?

Sorry, I prefer to earn my keep. And I bet you think I'm liberal.
    So, that blows your theory.

I did not play oboe, but I did start out with a clarinet as my 1st instrument. Likely because that was one of the only available instruments at the time as I did not have my own instrument to play.

I don't want to speak for @LangleyMan, but most of the poorest schools in the country are in black residential areas.
If one wants to be more accurate on education one should not focus on skin color, but look at income levels of the school districts.

CRT is not a primary school curriculum. Those parents who fell for that nonsense did so because of watching fake tv.

That's because that side of the political spectrum needs to make enemies of their fellow Americans. Not sure why they think they need to do that.

I do have a source. You would too if you bothered to educate yourself about a topic before expressing an opinion.
